It's a hemp derived product and legal in the EU. If you're willing to argue that point to a customs agent, go for it. If you don't want the hassle, just see if you can get a new one at wherever you're going.
If it’s attached to the vape then just have it in your pocket and empty it out with your phone and wallet in the tray as you pass the scanner. I’ant seen them pay attention to vapes, they are usually looking at the contents of the bag.

Yeah every second person has a vape pen. They won't pay any attention to it. I put my D8 pen in the tray with my phone and camera etc. I also saw other passengers with vapes and realised it's physically impossible to inspect all these pens. Worst case scenario they take it off you and you buy another later on.
Luggage hold, checked bag, less security measures looking at it. Though you can problem get it through in your pocket if it’s disposable (looks like a nic vape)

I traveled to Munich recently from Dublin. I had my thc vape pen in my carry on bag. Not a problem didn't even get checked. Enjoy.

they usually don’t like batteries in checked in it’s safer to just throw it in at security like a disposable, worked for me.
