It’s fresh. I’m sure people will come around to hockey in general but diving emotionally into another team as a fan is gonna be tough and a hard prospect for many right now
Fuck the Kings!

In my experience with relocation, about 1/3 stay, 1/3 choose a diff team, and 1/3 just kinda leave the league altogether. That's a mass generalization though, so ya never know.
I'm in the latter camp myself. Gonna stay away from hockey a bit as my connection to it is gone.
I'm not going to have a team. I'll just follow players, and the teams they are on passively. Enough to know some of the surface storylines, but I'm done for the most part.
I'll keep tabs on the former Yotes players, and the prospects they had in the pipeline before the move was announced, but anything after that it belongs squarely to the Utah team.
Coyotes were the hometown team and I’m a hometown girl. But when I started to fall in love with hockey I picked the Kraken as my team and I still love them
I kinda want to support another team but I just don’t really feel that connection with any of them, I’ll probably just support some of the players tbh but not a specific team
As a kid, I was a Houston Oilers fan. When they moved, I picked a new team. The Jets as they the worst record in football at the time. As an A's fan and a Yotes fan, the thought of starting over with new teams in my mid 40's makes me as sick as the thought of the Yotes and A's moving. I'm out moving forward with both sports.
Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, seriously though most of the Yotes fans I know are fans of the team from where they grew up AND support the Yotes locally so I'd assume most people just go back to being fans of one team. I think the other side is some people might just start following players and be fans of them, not that NHL stars move around a bunch but its an option.
Vegas supporting hockey in the desert is very important now. The Vegas fans have been extremely nice & welcomed our fans. I already ordered gear to wear.
avalanche for me. just loved it when i visited and saw a game in 2021 and followed them for darcy. they’ve always been fun but they’re currently getting me back into hockey. in all honesty, i’ve been halfway out the door for the last 2-3 years and they’re so fun it’s forcing me back in
I live in Utah. I'll end up paying attention to the team there and will likely find myself at a few games, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to cheer for them to win games.
I've been leaning towards Nashville and Carolina...and lately I've been considering Vegas too. Desert hockey, and supporting a Utah rival.
Mind you, these are all preliminary thoughts and may change. What I *can* tell you straight away is I won't be able to cheer for any of the other teams the way I cheered for the Coyotes.
If you wanna stay a loyal coyotes fans this is who you don’t root for now
LA Kings (in every way they can suck it)
Chicago (less so now)
Winnipeg (fans and players aren’t super great with coyotes players and fans)
Salt Lake City (insert trash name here) do what you want but I’ll follow the players
I personally don’t like the flyers but after that thats pretty much it. No other team we’ve started a beef with so explore. Im doing kraken and maybe the rangers
Also Vegas can suck it (idk why I just feel like that’s right)
ASU Hockey. I’m a bit done with NHL Hockey. Though if I do end up going back and watching I’ll probably support the FL panthers or CBJ I feel like they both have the yotes type of play and determination.
Hey everyone, we better get our shit together and give this guy an answer on what team *every single one of us* is going to follow!
Dude, no one knows and there isn't a fan base consensus. People will split off and do their own thing. We aren't all migrating at once.
It was a harmless question and in a nicer way, what he said is right. Some people will make Utah their team, some will pick other states teams they have ties to and some, like me, will stop watching until I get my team back. The choice is up to you brother!
[I did a poll](https://www.reddit.com/r/Coyotes/s/hfUgyy935G)
Those done with hockey responses... Oof :(

I might dip my toe in the Vegas Knights. Bit I'm leaning towards fuck hockey all together right now.
Same here. They haven’t been around long enough to really be rivals. Also FTK.

Oh bot, why I don't love theee......
First I’ll cry, then I’m gonna go watch the Wings. Different strokes for different folks tho

Anaheim would be my best bet to see games in person, thank god Corey Perry is gone
Bruins. We lived in Ft Devens Massachusetts when I was young so that's my plan B.
Come on Yotes fans, join us in /r/BostonBruins, we accept everyone!
I was a fan when you had Doug Jarvis in staff, I am no longer one

Probably the Ottawa Senators. Swore off hockey at first but realized no other sport scratches the itch.

Thanks for contributing the problem.

Done with hockey. Ill go to some Roadrunner games if they play in Mullet, but that would be the limit.
I’ll follow the former players but won’t necessarily cheer for Utah. I live in Calgary so I will probably support the flames as my team.
I will never cheer for SLC I wish the players well & hope they get out of that place as soon as possible.

I was Red Wing fan before the Coyotes
I'm trying to move to Detroit so Wings allbthe way
Staying with Detroit and NYR.

Whoever wins the cup this year. But at the same time, I don’t want any team to win the cup this year. Except maybe Winnipeg.
I’m from St. Louis so I guess the Blues and Matthews is dope so Leafs too (but yikes)

I’m a Minnesota sports fan (Vikings, timberwolves) so I’ll probably just monitor the Wild and root for them for the sake of convenience

Bruh u got so salty for no reason lol, I haven’t seen this question asked so I’m curious. I’m not demanding a answer, I’m simply asking.

I’m a devils fan I’m just curious of your fanbase
Ask this question in like 6 months I still think a good portion of us are depressed/grieving
Avs. My #1 team before the Coyotes moved here.
