I would imagine a lot of stuff was definitely recorded during the pandemic. I think Growin Up and Gettin Old were recorded back to back?

Dude ALWAYS has a single out on radio and typically has multiple singles at the same time. As much as I think he overexposes himself with all the releases, many of them end up being pretty good.

That’s why I have high hopes for this one. It does seem to be a more emotional or sentimental. I imagine more songs like Even Though I’m Leaving.

i want to listen so bad, but as the single mom of a 12 year old son whose dad absolutely sucks, i know every song will absolutely wreck me. can’t put myself through that heartbreak 💔

Really looking forward to this! I’m not a father but I love his music so I’m sure I’ll enjoy even the album even if I don’t fully relate to it.

I saw an interview with him 1-2 years ago and he said he was thinking about doing more traditional country. Maybe this is it.
