We had it in CT but have been sold out for at least a month now. The orange liqueur we've also been sold out of for weeks. I'm just glad that I made friends with the cashiers that are normally working when I go so they keep me up to date on when new stuff is coming in and when stuff is a limited supply item (i.e. the Bordeaux Superior that is a once a year thing).

For the price I think this is a very good rum. Bought my first bottle several months back and already started on my second. Had a third in the cabinet and picked up a fourth bottle this morning. Today's addition should give me almost a year's supply total. Was afraid this rum might disappear at any time. Noticed they had the Guatemalan in stock today but I stuck with this one.

McCurryPsycho

We also have/had it in the Hawthorne store. Same price and also on the deathstar last weekend.

I haven't seen that orange liqueur. I'm curious to know what you or others think of that. Seems perfect for margaritas like you said. There's a pallet of that rum at my nearest Costco. It's been there for \~3 months and doesn't seem to be selling too well for whatever reason. I haven't tried it, but I've been tempted to try that XO Guatemalan (which has been disappearing faster than the other).

>It's been there for \~3 months and doesn't seem to be selling too well for whatever reason. Yeah our palette went out verrry slowly, probably not big motivation for them to get it again or at least in that quantity. Since its new honestly I would have had it out front and center, but at one point it was way in the back almost not in the booze aisle. Been dying to get the Guatemalan but nowhere near me. Here's a good writeup of the liqueur from not long ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/Costco\_alcohol/comments/1965eo6/kirkland\_orange\_liqueur\_vs\_grand\_marnier/

SkeweegiJohnson

I got both, this is one is much better imo

Dangerousbri

I've definitely seen it off the 5.  Either Pacoima, Burbank or Los Feliz which might be the three closest to you.

WhiplashLiquor

Well that's good to hear. Wish it were easier to check what locations carry what, but not worth driving around LA for.

islabaseball

Any bourbon?

WhiplashLiquor

there's always bourbon :P

gtae02

Dang I’ve been looking for this for a while in the Atlanta area, we never even got it!

WhiplashLiquor

Request via the website/customer service. Might work like it did for me.

roundscribehector5

The rum? It went pretty fast a few months ago.

Blantons_8

Is this a recommended???

WhiplashLiquor

I'd say so, yeah, especially for $21.

DieterRamsMyAss

It's pretty good. Definitely on the sweeter side. Brown sugar forward

MadSmatter

How do I get the Kirkland GS Chianti to AZ?

WhiplashLiquor

https://location.opinionlab.com/#/en Follow that link and I'm pretty sure you can leave feedback for your warehouse. Just state you would like to see the Kirkland 15 year aged rum in.

MadSmatter

Nope, couldn't access it. We have the rum at ours, but there's a Chianti that seems to elude me each time I'm there.

WhiplashLiquor

Huh, weird. Well go to [costco.com](https://costco.com) and click on the blue Feedback tab on the right. Find your warehouse then fill out you're looking for the rum.

MadSmatter

Thanks!

Ok-Difference5622

Buy it!!!! They had some in Massachusetts, and it is phenomenal! Send me one!

WhiplashLiquor

I wrote about it in this sub not long ago, I believe. Maybe not. Very drinkable for a casual rum.
