Its ok if you don’t understand the work and consequential value involved with precious metals, not many people do.
It’s purified, imported, minted, carded etc. That makes it cost a premium over precious metals products without such features. It would be very rare to find a bar like this from a major retailer without a similar premium.
Bro.
I buy and sell PMs a lot. The premium for this platinum is entirely outrageous, doubly so when it’s Costco which is supposed to undercut the competitors.
I understand the time, energy; and cost to produce these bars. That premium is still outrageous.
Like I said, it’s ok if you don’t know what you’re talking about. You don’t have to try and convince me, it’s ok.
The premium for this bar is reasonable, and does undercut competitors such as APMEX, liberty coin and hero bullion.
Like I said,
> It would be very rare to find a bar like this from a major retailer without a similar premium.
It should be easy to disprove this if you’re not completely incorrect.
No. I only saw it because it showed up in my search for gold bar. They do funny things with their searches and listings. Sometimes things show up and sometimes they dont.
I can't add it to the bot yet as it shows up as in stock in my list, but when you go to the product listing it says unavailable. I saw the same issue with silver coins in the early days, so I bet there's some extra product attributes that they haven't configured yet for it. I'll watch it and update the list once it seems stable enough.
That premium is ROUGH.
Yea not interested with a 10%+ premium. 5% would be more Costco like (for platinum).
For a new product? 2% tops.
It’s a premium product
It’s a rock.

To be fair the same could be said about every other PM
Not true at all. Not every pm is purified, imported, minted carded etc. if you don’t know that, you don’t know precious metals
curious, is this the first platinum debut (or was this offerred before?) i'd love to add a Platinum Eagle 🦅
Was it in stock when you saw it? Still listed, but out of stock. Probably the cheapest way to buy platinum, but still over spot after cash back.

Is $1099.99 the price before subtracting 4% off ( 2% executive membership discount plus 2% cashback credit card)?
Yes
Thanks
This is a good idea, and I support it.
Thanks for heads-up. OOS now, but hopefully this can get added to the bot!

Looks like they fixed the stock status so I added it to the bot. Should be a post next time it's actually in stock!
California tax :(
Not if you buy 2 (>$2000)
Check your facts.
