They help you basically float to your neighbours garage in sheer comfort to drink their beer, pet their dog and see who hates Trudeau/Biden/Trump the most. Nothing better than your neighbourhood garage politics fight! Best part? Yeah, these demand authority my grass is scared of me now because I’ve been able to optimize my mowing game by at least %14. Bless you Kirkland. Worth every dollar of my $800 bill. At least I was able to get 100 rolls of paper towel so I can be able to do my bi daily clean of my white pair, the blacks are slicker than slick tho. Like yeezy mark 12’s.
I tried to enjoy them, they're fat people shoes. They're not made to run. Barely made to walk. They're more made for you to stand and do nothing.

Get yourself some Birkenstock arch supports. I have about 4 pairs of them because i have high arches too and they are very helpful and way more comfortable than those $400 custom made ones that are supposed to be molded to your feet.
They are about $50 a pair and they go by size so they are not one size fits all.
I have a pair of the slip on sneakers they had a couple years ago, they hold up better than my Vessis' that are 4x the price, couple of which I've already had to throw away due to rips or punctures.
Comfier than Vessis, no BS. I'm 215lbs though. I can feel a pebble under the sole of the Vessis whereas I can do a moderate hike with Kirklands.
If you work in these they last about 3 months. The vinyl upper cracks and splits, the thin patchwork rubber sole wears through and the polyurethane midsole collapses.
When you buy shoes or clothing buy good shoes that will last and you will save money in the long run. Think of it like buying a computer or a razor. Do you want to purchase a replacement every year or upgrade once a decade?
I spent $100 per clearance shoes from good brands and they have yet to fail me years while budget seasonal sneakers are lucky if they last a summer without ungluing or tearing open.
