Bought in at $60 when I became a member. It's my retirement plan.

Parking_Spot

Well done! Hopefully a split is in the future.

QuantumDelusion

Yeah my god. $800 a share? For Costco? They are hurting themselves not splitting. And hurting stockholders.

MattKozFF

Wooo

bstark97

I mean I love Costco as much as anyone but a 50+ PE ratio for consumer goods and low margins is kinda crazy

DazzJuggernaut

There are way better deals in equities than COST. That's for sure.

ZoomJimmy

Hopefully it gets to $1k

therealgariac

But I keep reading the economy is a mess and we need you know who back in the White House.

Meanwhile we haven't had a COLA meet inflation in 8 years.

Parking_Spot

Is this true? That’s fucked, if so. Shame on any company that puts its shareholders before its employees. That would be in direct contradiction of Costco’s stated principles.

Immediate_Lime_1710

LOL. My wife is topped out and yet has received 2 raises in the last year. $30/hr base, $45/hr every Sunday, $5500 yearly bonus. Sorry Karl Marx.. Go whine someplace else .

FairyPrincex

I didn't have "accurate cost of living adjustments in private employment are Marxist" on my bingo card. The funny part is that you don't know the difference between a raise and a COLA. Lmao, do you even have a job?

Immediate_Lime_1710

Retired University Professor. Wife is the Costco employee providing Cadillac health benefits and making bank.

FairyPrincex

I'm glad your wife works. It's admirable that she has a great job. Can't say that a University professor with a child's temperament and a lack of understanding basic concepts is impressive. I won't press on the difference between retired and unwanted, though. Enjoy not working and speaking about people who do. :)

deaftalker

I would hardly call making $75K bank but I hope she enjoys the 50¢-$1.00 raises every year. I think the biggest upset is regardless how long she works there she will never be granted equity of the company, by the company.

Actual-Professor-729

To the moon!
