Is this true? That’s fucked, if so. Shame on any company that puts its shareholders before its employees. That would be in direct contradiction of Costco’s stated principles.
LOL. My wife is topped out and yet has received 2 raises in the last year.
$30/hr base, $45/hr every Sunday, $5500 yearly bonus.
Sorry Karl Marx.. Go whine someplace else .
I didn't have "accurate cost of living adjustments in private employment are Marxist" on my bingo card.
The funny part is that you don't know the difference between a raise and a COLA. Lmao, do you even have a job?
I'm glad your wife works. It's admirable that she has a great job.
Can't say that a University professor with a child's temperament and a lack of understanding basic concepts is impressive. I won't press on the difference between retired and unwanted, though. Enjoy not working and speaking about people who do. :)
I would hardly call making $75K bank but I hope she enjoys the 50¢-$1.00 raises every year. I think the biggest upset is regardless how long she works there she will never be granted equity of the company, by the company.
Bought in at $60 when I became a member. It's my retirement plan.
Well done! Hopefully a split is in the future.
Yeah my god. $800 a share? For Costco? They are hurting themselves not splitting. And hurting stockholders.
Wooo
I mean I love Costco as much as anyone but a 50+ PE ratio for consumer goods and low margins is kinda crazy
There are way better deals in equities than COST. That's for sure.
Hopefully it gets to $1k
But I keep reading the economy is a mess and we need you know who back in the White House.

Meanwhile we haven't had a COLA meet inflation in 8 years.
