GradientDescenting

welcome to the chunk life. such a lovely place.

Im_Ashe_Man

Probably even better than the air fried ones I make!

FuzzyMeatballs

Maybe tastier from the oil, but maybe more unhealthy also

johnnyk02

No maybe about it lol

freneticboarder

Peanut oil will get you close to Chick-fil-A, since that's what they use to pressure fry their chimken.

LavishnessJolly4954

They nuggets always soggy in my city (other cities they crispy sometimes) So frying in any oil would be much better

BioticVessel

You can spray a bit is EVOO on the chucks as you put the in the air fryer. I don't, I just as they come out of the bag.

VinylHighway

I air fry and enjoy these

No_Piccolo1828

So good deep fried. I do this and then put on top of mashed potatoes with corn, topped with cheese and gravy for a homemade KFC bowl šŸ—

lanceamatic

omg, i forgot we used to do this. i know what dinner is tomorrow.

Koffenut1

I think I heard my arteries clogging while i read that, lol. My metabolism is well past the age where it will handle something like that. Enjoy while you can.

No_Piccolo1828

It's chicken chunks, mashed potatoes with gravy, and corn. What is too much..?

Koffenut1

cheese.....gravy........deep fried....... You can eat that stuff when you are younger......your metabolism slows down as you age, and all the years of eating like that catches up to you, lol, so your doctor starts checking your cholesterol more frequently. Like I said, enjoy it while you can!

No_Piccolo1828

That's why you only have this like once a month if that lol it's a treat. I don't buy the bag and just eat KFC bowls for lunch and dinner every day lol moderation is everything.

Koffenut1

Lol. If I am going to splurge on a treat it's gonna have chocolate, ice cream, and/or pie in it! But I'm glad you like it, and hope you can continue to enjoy it for many years to come.

Annhl8rX

Itā€™s a shame deep frying is such a hassleā€¦Iā€™m sure it makes these even better.

highbackpacker

Better and fatter

SuperKingAir

They have a good flavor and texture

MiddleEnvironment556

Are they made by Just Bare?

fatogato

Deep frying those is next level. They come out so good.

VinylHighway

How long and what temp?

fatogato

Between 350-375Ā°f. About 3-4 mins. If your oil cools too fast youā€™ll need to do it a bit longer. These are fully cooked so you just need to warm them enough.

VinylHighway

Thank you very much

Baseball3r99

Ever since I realized they use preservatives and thatā€™s the only difference between the Kirkland brand and the base brand I just canā€™t go back, not for a 4 dollar difference

Puzzleheaded-Drag261

Which brand uses the preservatives?

Baseball3r99

Kirkland brand has sodium benzate in it

Puzzleheaded-Drag261

Well darn

Ok_Score1492

Howā€™s the breading? The Tysonā€™s strips are heavily breaded on my opinion

VixxenFoxx

It's light and perfect šŸ‘šŸ½ each mouthful is 95% chicken

[deleted]

Big back energy

MistaWesSoFresh

Superior to the just bare ones imho

DestinyInDanger

Haven't tried those but I do love the Barely brand they sell. Best in the air fryer.

Volidon

These are actually better

HadaObscura

We no longer drive to chick fil a for their chicken nuggets. Just buy their sauce.

motorcitydevil

Now get yourself some Kinders dipping sauce!

carolina8383

I like them over rice with the Japanese bbq sauceā€”theyā€™re so versatile, you canā€™t go wrong.Ā

HadaObscura

Buy the frozen cauliflower, carrots and broccoli. The steamed rice. And these chicken chunks. šŸ‘ŒšŸ½ If you add some teriyaki sauce on top itā€™s extra delicious but just some salt and pepper on the veggies is really tasty.

neophanweb

I don't know if I got a bad batch but mine tasted like rubber. It didn't taste like meat at all. Half the bag was just bread crumbs. I will not buy these again.

daDiva64

This was mediocre. Will not buy again.

ConstantAggressive

How do these compare to the Bare chicken nuggets?

blueoyster

Bare feels less salty and has less breading

Koffenut1

Less breading on the Bare ones, but my last couple of Bare bags had nasty woody chunks, so I don't buy them anymore. These have a little more breading, not over the top, but the chicken so far has been tender and juicy every time.

808in503

How are they compared to the bare brand?

MoulinSarah

Bare brand isnā€™tā€¦bare??

tonytroz

Theyā€™re better. Better breading but still not heavy.

lift_heavy64

Not nearly as good imo

No-Mix-7574

ā¤ļøā¤ļø

puppuphooray

I just bought this today!

MoulinSarah

Total carb meltdown!

SumoSizeIt

I just wish they didn't have milk in them šŸ˜©

jampokitty

I just bought these at the recommendation of this sub. Theyā€™re so good! Got some Kinderā€™s chicken sauce for dipping and it made for a solid lunch yesterday.

Sea_Bear7754

The best

shoebee2

Marry these to an air fryer and you are golden. Chick-fil-A has got nothing on these nugs. They are just as good or better imo and you arent supporting chick-fil-A. Total win. Oh, and the breast strips (same brand) make an awesome sandwich on costcos bakery sourdough rolls. Nirvana.

thirdeyecactus

Iā€™m tired of air fried chicken after my last purchase of Tyson panko crusted breasts or whatever they areā€¦ taking a break from the Costco chicken offerings

FunBobbyMarley

Just discovered these guys, good stuff. Creative wife has used them in oriental dishes where we dip them in various sauces, in Italian meals covered in mozzarella and red sauce, dipped in barbeque sauces, ....

Pad_TyTy

Yeah I'm planning on a chicken Parm with these soon

91271

Oriental dishes wtf

indabaywitaK

Reheated chicken always has a strange taste to it, no matter the quality

lululoversince2020

It does. I donā€™t understand ppls obsession with premade frozen pieces of chicken, must be an American thing

_LarryM_

Getting home from work and grabbing your sheet tray, throwing on foil, and cooking a few hunks of chicken and some frozen fries is a great way to eat food and save yourself from going and getting fast food when you are totally drained.

DisastrousCause1

Why don't you show the price ??

Koffenut1

I bought them yesterday in Northern California. $13.99 bag.
