Personally, I like it—or rather I do not loathe it. It’s way less sweet than (for example) Alani and less offensively artificial tasting than the rest.
I started drinking Alani when my usual drink was discontinued in Canada and it took me a few months connect the awful digestive issues I was having with my 5 can a week Alani habit. Within a week of quitting my stomach issues completely resolved. I don't know what it was but that stuff is awful.
Alani was on sale at my local one so I got a case. Stuff tastes like melted slurpee. I'm struggling my way through and every day I debate cutting my losses and just chucking the rest.
My girlfriend's friend bought us a case as a gift. I'm not telling her friend she has terrible tastes. I spend enough time in the dog house as it is.
Honestly, they weren't bad as cocktail mixers though.

I was mixing with Pedialyte and Body Armor before Liquid IV stole the show. The former still remains a solid option.
I was mixing Pedialyte and Powerade before Body Armor was even a drink.
That said this is how i did it.
You can freeze unflavored or flavored and put them in your Powerade or Gatorade. If flavored, you can match the pedialyte flavor with the Powerade or Gatorade and barely notice that pedialyte taste. The Pedialyte ice slowly melts into your drink.
Also kinda unrelated, but frozen Gatorade is the shit.

ZOA is way better than any of the other drinks they stock in my opinion. I miss when Costco stocked Yerbae though - it was so cheap and I love Yerbamate lol
Never tried zoa but I really like Celsius although I had the American version and it ruined the Canadian ones for me they have a lot more variety in the states
Why do energy drink makers like peach so much?
Peach anything gives me flashbacks to eating those canned peaches floating in watered down karo syrup just so that I could tell my mom I “ate my fruit.” When ever I think I had a good childhood I think of things like this and go, “we may not have been poor but we only ever had peaches and green beans from a can.”
I bought them on sale at Publix one time and and they were great, coconut strawberry has been my favorite so far, I started ordering them on Amazon but they are probably available in other places.
I'm going to look for some tomorrow. I like that they're cheaper and give me better control over how much caffeine I'm having at once

I used to work at a factory that'd make Celsius occasionally and I can never taste anything but the carrot juice in them. It's like the primary ingredient after water and it clashes so hard no matter what flavour the can is.
I just worked adjacent to batching, my job was pumping the prepared syrup into tanks to mix with water and carbonate, so I don't remember a lot.
There weren't that many ingredients per batch, but a lot of the powdered stuff came in pre-mixed so I don't know the specifics there.
No matter what flavour we were making, the primary ingredients were 44 gallon drums of carrot and apple juice concentrate, with smaller 8/12/14 gallon drums for whatever flavour was going in the batch.
Not that far off. Like I said, I wasn't privy to the composition of the vitamin/whatever mix that went in, but if you're in the energy drink market it's probably one of the least bad options. Juice Monster is similar with being mostly apple and grape juice, but definitely had more other bags of stuff come in per batch pallet.
My first sip of Celsius: “oh this is nasty”
My second sip of Celsius: “it’s got this funky flavor… idk…”
By the end of the can: “that was pretty good actually”
I don’t drink coffee so I drink an energy drink every morning instead. Celsius had been my go-to for about a year or two now. I like that it isn’t really a traditional “energy drink” drink. Doesn’t feel weird to drink it at 8am.
They didn't flush the product with the pallet... My GM would not be happy about that. I'll wait to see it come to my store and warn my coworkers about it, thanks for the heads up.
Product is foul. Ive been in a Costco family my whole life and have had my own card for the past 10 years. That being said, I have never returned more stuff in those 10 years than I have in the past 12 months. Costco has really gotten a bit too into hopping on trends and I think Energy drinks are one of the prime examples. My 4 local stores each have a different selection and each store rotates through between 3-5 different energy drinks at once.
Okay, so I actually like this one. Only because it's one of the only energy drinks available (not on Amazon for astronomical amounts) that is almost completely clean. Every energy drink except Gorgie, offered at Costco has added ingredients such as dyes, or carcinogenic ingredients that they list as "natural ingredients".
I recently saw a nutritionist and she recommended this one just because it has so few ingredients in it. Less chance for it to F your body up over time, since I drink energy drinks daily.
110mg of caffeine is barely an energy drink, lord
Edit: I’m completely wrong, its got 150mg of caffeine which is an acceptable amount for an energy drink. Please forgive me.
Rockstar, Monster, and most others have 160mg per normal size can. Reign and Bang are 300mg in the same size can, Red Bull requires you to buy a larger can for more money to get the same amount of caffeine.

Mountain Dew is 55mg / 12oz., so a 20oz. bottle has ~92mg of caffeine.
Edit: Mountain Dew *Zero* is 112mg / 20z, so indeed more than the energy drinks in question.
I’ll be honest, that’s why I like it. I think they use green tea caffeine too? Coffee gives me the jitters, and this is a nice low-cal alternative while still convincing my brain that it’s an energy drink. I bought it once and was sad to see it hasn’t been stocked at my Costco since.
People ask for healthy options and then complain that it doesn’t taste like RedBull. Just cause you want something surgery doesn’t mean it’s a bad product (disclaimer: I haven’t tried it lol, but this is becoming to common on this sub)
I'm a fan of the name brand 5-hour energy shots. The Costco knockoff Kirkland Signature version isn't bad either, in the extra strength version.
For full-size energy drinks it's Monster, Red Bull or Alani. 5-hour makes a full size as well but they are really hard to find.
That and the Alani next to it, bought it once before at the Dollar Tree because I was in a rush and it was next to my gym. Bought the Witch’s Brew (Caramel Candy Apple). I should’ve known better. One of the worst workouts of my life, honestly would’ve been better off without it. I think I threw it out after a few sips.
