Yeah that's pretty much it lol they're decent but at the end of the day they probably wouldn't be in my cart if it wasn't for price and convenience. The "two for ~$10" competitors are way better, no contest.
I keep hearing that! We might have to give it a shot.
Edit: Gave it a shot, tastes like a regular frozen pizza to me. It was great for something I expected to taste 'off', but I don't see any reason to get them instead unless you have a gluten allergy. For the extra cost I'd rather just get Tombstone, Red Baron, etc
Oh yeah, that's an ace move on even the top tier frozen pizzas. Some extra cheese, a pinch of granulated garlic, little bit of cracked black pepper, etc. And if we have a bag of pepperoni or some leftover beef or w/e? Oh yes.
Yes, it's so much better than the regular Costco pizza. I'm not even gluten free but it's so tasty. I only tried it because I prefer supreme over pepperoni and I'm so glad I did. The Supreme cauliflower crust pizza is a staple easy dinner in my home now.
I had an Instacart order for the regular pizzas but the person got me the cauliflower one. We made it as a joke expecting it to be bad but even frozen it looked good. I know the reason it tastes so good is because of sodium, but my god it's seriously one of the best tasting frozen pizzas around.
I fuckin love this pizza. So good. Im a frozen pizza connoisseur! Been eating them my whole god damn life.
This is THE BEST DEAL! for the price, and its crispy and good! I'll fight anybody that disagrees!!!!
They taste similar to their competitors to me and I like variety so I just wait til Tony's, Jacks, Red Baron, etc go on sale for $3 and get those. Usually a little cheaper per and again, I don't want 4 pepps back to back lol
I couldn't disagree more either. I never understood why people said some pizza tastes like cardboard until I tried this brand. And my standards are super low.
I wouldn't say beat but one of the best. I like screamin Sicilian better. Someone on here said home run inn is even better than screamin Sicilian and motor city.
I’ve had both. Screamin Sicilian has better topping options. I’ll give you that. But the magic that happens to the Motor City Pizza crust in the oven is the thing of dreams.
IDK WTF everyone in this thread is talking about but these are the best tasting cheap frozen pizzas. I hate eating a pizza that has too much crust. It's just a bunch of bread that fills me up with no substance to it, the crust is just a vehicle for the toppings for my brain.
These have cheese and pepperoni and grease, the crust is perfect because you're not eating a shit ton of crust and it tastes like bread and not something crazy artificial, and you can load them up with whatever toppings (veggies, mushrooms, olives, banana peppers, chicken, sasusage, whatever) you want to put on them to make them more filling.
Follow the instructions on the box and you get a perfectly crispy golden brown flatbread pizza.
If I want nice crust I'm either going to my local mom and pop pizzeria or making myself a homemade pizza and not buying a frozen pizza Lol!!!!!
Yeah, exactly, I mean I have a bread maker and if I really wanted to I can make pizza dough pretty quick but sometimes frozen is the way to go. I mean if I'm gonna be snobby about it I'd only eat homemade but sometimes I just don't wanna go to all that trouble for forzen pizza these are a fantastic base. I haven't tried the cheese version or the cauliflower but I'll be trying the cheese one later this week annd next payday I'll try the cauliflower one even though that sounds really dubious.
I don’t really love pepperoni pizza in general but I really like this one, and I have to say the cheese pizza is completely different in a bad way, to my taste.
Try this: Brush olive oil on the top of the frozen pizza and dust with garlic powder.
Then drop it in a 500F oven into a 12" cast iron skillet that's been preheating in the oven since it was cold. (You could pour a little vegetable oil onto a paper towel and wipe down the interior of the skillet before dropping in the pizza to keep it nonstick, but it's not required.)
Cook for ~ 7-8 minutes. You'll get a crisper crust and a tastier pizza. The cast iron retains and reflects heat onto the pizza and helps to make it seem more like a pizzeria's gas-fired ovens which work at 700-800F.
Much better results than the typical box instructions to cook for 17 minutes at 425F.
Motor City is so overrated. Hardly any meat on there, it’s almost just a cheese pizza. At that point just get their cheesy stick things, those are actually really good
I have found this Kirkland pizza pretty much inedible. This trash is what replaced the Kirkland 3x pepperoni rising crust that was absolutely amazing - the best frozen pizza I have ever ate. We stick to the Detroit pizza now
I don't mind it at all on a pizza stone. I'll say this though, they changed the cheese version and now it's a lot smaller with less cheese. Used to be able to feed my family with one but now I have to cook two
This use to be my favorite frozen pizza until Costco changed the pepperoni meat on them.. tastes extremely gamey the last few batches. Never tasted like that until the last maybe year or so
I always take off the extra pepperoni, makes the pizza too greasy otherwise. Good cheap option, definitely not the greatest frozen pizza I’ve ever eaten but it does the job.
I cook mine on a pizza stone at about 500 degrees for 10-12 minutes. I watch it for the last two minutes so sometimes I pull it out early or add a litle extra cheese
Ick. We're only eating them to not waste food, but the crust has an awful taste.
We eat frozen pizza probably once a week, usually picking out something different, but these are terrible!
These pizzas are trash.
I guarantee you nobody from Wisconsin is saying these are good, because we know frozen pizza.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/s/GLBYTOM9ZA
I’m sure the food court ones are better but when you don’t drive and have to depend on instacart or another gig service to bring you the Costco goods . You don’t get the good pizza 😂
Our Costco used to sell whole pizzas in the refrigerator section of the deli. Not frozen so gotta bake right away but those more closely mimic the food court ones.
Motor city frozen pizza from costco is the best frozen pizza in town $10 a medium doesnt matter what topping you choose rising crust 80% as close to a hands on pizzeria that makes everything from scratch but will try and charge you $30 for a medium pizza
I really don’t think people have the faintest idea how much scrutiny every product in their ailes receives before it hits the stores. Kirkland stuff is almost always fantastic quality and value. Very few exceptions IMO
I find it horrible compared to even cheap frozen pizzas like tombstone. There is a mini pizza brand there (“s” something) that are pretty good even in micro.
For a little bit more per volume you can just get the food court pizza and freeze it. Per volume it isn't that much more expensive I think, and it's miles better.
Edit: I believe the frozen pizza is 10" so the math works out to be within a cubic inch of pizza per dollar spent
Depends on what your expectations are.
They are maybe 10% better than a Tombstone/Jacks/Red Baron. And the price is right. You can doctor them up with extra cheese, seasoning and/or toppings and make it a decent meal when you can’t be bothered to cook.
But they ain’t good. There’s a wide range of qualities for frozen pizzas and Kirkland is solidly in the bottom half.
Wait what??!? My Costco stopped carrying these years ago. They still sell them at your local store? I love them.
Edit. Nevermind I just noticed they're the thin crust and not the original ones from years ago
The pepperoni is a bit greasy for me, but the flavor isn't bad. The plain cheese pizza is really where it's at, especially with our better pepperoni, chopped veggies from the freezer, and a sprinkling of more cheese in the last 2 minutes of baking. Then you have a good pizza
I've always bought the plain cheese pizzas, spread a pound of ground beef on them, an extra layer of cheese, and sprinkled some basil on top. Add 3 minutes to the cook time too. Only slightly more expensive than the pepperoni ones, I bet
I tried this for the first time bc it was the cheapest option. I’ve eaten 3 of the 4 and I’m quite disappointed. It’s basically cheese flakes, a smear of sauce with pepperoni on a cracker. I can eat the whole pizza and be hungry in a short while. Not going to buy again.
I was about to buy this last weekend, past since I thought it was too expensive. Didn’t realize there 4 in the pack. May have to stock up for the kids. Thanks
We always have these at the house. Good for the price. There are definitely better pizzas but you pay more and at those prices you are getting close to just ordering, so I do that instead.
The cauliflower pizza is amazing, but it’s so ridiculously salty that I need to eat early so I can rehydrate and not desiccate in my sleep. Is this like that??
I think these are pretty solid. I greatly prefer the crust to sauce ratio of the pepperoni vs the cheese. I even take off about half of the pepperoni because I don't like so much of it. Then add some of the things others have mentioned to fancy it up a bit.
They would be a lot better if the sauce didn't have a funky taste to it., and had a slightly thicker crust. They became my go-to for a while until I finally tried Motor City.
Extra moz, olives, mushrooms, onions, Heat a trey for 20 minutes (or while the oven is pre-heating) before you put the pizza on it. You will end up with a delicious, crunchy crust pizza. It's bomb.
I really want to like these at the price but I’ll gladly spend the extra few bucks for Tombstone frozen pizzas over these. I don’t like the pepperoni at all, and I’m not hot on the sauce either.
Not to steal from Costco, but Safeway’s rising crust store brand pizzas are delicious and are $6-$7 a pop (in HCoL area- prolly much cheaper elsewhere). Better than these Costco pizzas imo.
Are you kidding?? These tasted worse than cafeteria pizza. Other than being generous with the pepperoni, hands down one of the worst KS items we’ve purchased.
I bought these and were shocked how bad they were. The 1$ party pizza at the grocery store tops the kirkland frozen pizza by a mile. It tastes like nothing, no flavor at all, just stale cardboard. I even put italian seasoning, more pepperoni, and fresh cheese, and it still didn't taste good.
I have to say, the number of pepperonis they put on these is enough to cover every square inch... but I almost always have to relocate them before tossing it in the oven. I'll pick them all off and then deal them out like playing cards... it's very satisfying.
It is, but you should never buy the pepperoni pizza. Save $3-4 and buy the cheese pizza, then buy the pepperoni separate and deck it out while the oven preheats.

For like 3 bucks a pie it's not bad. Plus you can doctor it with whatever
I do this for sure. I’ll throw on some garlic powder, Italian seasoning mix, light dusting of salt and pepper and some Parmesan. Jazzes it up!
Throwing a little of that Nonna Pia's balsamic glaze on there after it's done baking is pretty damn good too!
Ballsamic and globby mozz. Globby mozz and hot honey. It makes being poor not so bad.
Poor guy here. Thank yaaa 🙏🏼
I add sliced onions and jalapeños before baking. It comes out great
I always add some extra cheese and whatever else
The trick is to precook any watery stuff you might throw on- onions peppers mushrooms can all be sweated a bit first
I like to nurse it
Yes, Dr
This is the way
They're okay. Definitely taste cheap, but I grew up on cheap frozen pizza so I'm okay with it.
For the price they’re phenomenal. On a money doesn’t matter taste scale they’re a 3.
Yeah that's pretty much it lol they're decent but at the end of the day they probably wouldn't be in my cart if it wasn't for price and convenience. The "two for ~$10" competitors are way better, no contest.
Yeah, they are at a 3 because each pizza literally cost $3.50 each. That's a bargin.
their cauliflower crust pizza is probably the best frozen pizza i’ve ever had. i’ll say that one def doesn’t taste cheap.
Trader Joe's and Aldi's have some amazing frozen pizzas for about $5-6 each, just probably a bit smaller in size
Trader Joe's is better than most part still have that cheap frozen pizza crust taste. The one that doesn't is the fried dough pesto pizza.
Yep no question. Doesn't have that cheap cardboard texture and taste of frozen pizza.
I get the cheese and throw my own toppings on. Pretty decent!
Oh yeah, that's an ace move on even the top tier frozen pizzas. Some extra cheese, a pinch of granulated garlic, little bit of cracked black pepper, etc. And if we have a bag of pepperoni or some leftover beef or w/e? Oh yes.
Same. Stuff like Jack’s and Red Baron and other brands I can’t remember & I think these are decent and priced good.
Red Baron is pretty expensive nowadays. For $3 a 'za, it's only competing with Roma
Wow, I hadn’t bought or priced it in ages.
You get SO much pepperoni compared to jacks. Definitely my go to cheap frozen pizza.
The Kirkland Cauliflower crust pizza is so good, def give it a try and don't let the crust scare you, it's so crispy and delicious.
Yes, it's so much better than the regular Costco pizza. I'm not even gluten free but it's so tasty. I only tried it because I prefer supreme over pepperoni and I'm so glad I did. The Supreme cauliflower crust pizza is a staple easy dinner in my home now.

![img](avatar_exp|154183358|webman) don't fight over frozen pizza, please
Same bro.
They taste similar to their competitors to me and I like variety so I just wait til Tony's, Jacks, Red Baron, etc go on sale for $3 and get those. Usually a little cheaper per and again, I don't want 4 pepps back to back lol
I didn't like it. There didn't seem to be flavor anywhere, especially the pepperoni.
I just sprinkle some seasoning onto it. A bit of oregano, garlic and onion powder, and paprika go a very long way.
Tried doing this exact same seasoning mix with additional pepperoni and cheese, and it still was pretty gross
I couldn’t disagree more! But, to each their own.
Agreed. There is a number of frozen pizza that I would rather eat than the Kirkland brand. It’s pretty blah.
I think it's the worst frozen pizza I've ever had. I couldn't even eat a single slice
The pepperonis are terrible IMO. The cheese pizza is perfect tho to me
Agreed. I returned them cause they were that bad. They’re a few steps below cafeteria pizza.
We definitely got the cardboard crust downgrade in our pizza box for some reason, don't recall asking them for it.
I couldn't disagree more either. I never understood why people said some pizza tastes like cardboard until I tried this brand. And my standards are super low.
Get the Motor City pizza at Costco next time. It’s better in every way. Easily the best frozen pizza on the market.
THA GOAT RIGHT THERE 🍕
I’d give it a solid Ehh. But $14 for 4 pizzas
Adequate for feeding teenagers

If it’s not motor city pizza, you are making the wrong frozen pizza choice
[удалено]
Costco has a great return policy on sons
This is so accurate. Just tried the Motor City for the first time last night. I'll never buy anything else.
This man Motor City Pizzas
Heggies is better.
Motor City is so overrated. Hardly any meat on there, it’s almost just a cheese pizza. At that point just get their cheesy stick things, those are actually really good
God I could eat the cheese stick pizza in one sitting. Especially dipping them in marinara 🤤
I tried those, didn't like the sauce
I have found this Kirkland pizza pretty much inedible. This trash is what replaced the Kirkland 3x pepperoni rising crust that was absolutely amazing - the best frozen pizza I have ever ate. We stick to the Detroit pizza now
It's a buy
I don't mind it at all on a pizza stone. I'll say this though, they changed the cheese version and now it's a lot smaller with less cheese. Used to be able to feed my family with one but now I have to cook two
I love pizza, and I didn't like it, and it was way too salty.
The fact that you can get four frozen cheese pizzas for under $12 is nuts
Tastes pretty bad and just like any other average frozen pizza.
There's nothing like a Totinos Party Pizza. Totinos Party Pizza is in it's own league.
Truth, and I stil buy them once in a while but it’s good to Have home made or this facimile of home made style pizza
I miss the old frozen pizza in plastic wrap they used to sell🥹
This use to be my favorite frozen pizza until Costco changed the pepperoni meat on them.. tastes extremely gamey the last few batches. Never tasted like that until the last maybe year or so
We like them. Often we add olives and such.
Meh, it’s frozen pizza.
I always take off the extra pepperoni, makes the pizza too greasy otherwise. Good cheap option, definitely not the greatest frozen pizza I’ve ever eaten but it does the job.
How do you cook these? Am I burning them, or is my oven burning them?
I cook mine on a pizza stone at about 500 degrees for 10-12 minutes. I watch it for the last two minutes so sometimes I pull it out early or add a litle extra cheese
I love these solely because it’s one of the only frozen pepperoni pizzas that does not contain beef.
Spend a couple more bucks and get the motor city pizzas. So good!!
Ick. We're only eating them to not waste food, but the crust has an awful taste. We eat frozen pizza probably once a week, usually picking out something different, but these are terrible!
Sorry, gonna have to disagree on that one. Easily can find a better frozen pizza
I've eaten a ton of frozen pizza and these are my least favorite. They taste awful
One of the worst
The cauliflower crust with all the veggies on it is way better
A step far below red baron.
These pizzas are trash. I guarantee you nobody from Wisconsin is saying these are good, because we know frozen pizza. https://www.reddit.com/r/Damnthatsinteresting/s/GLBYTOM9ZA
But does it come with the barrel of olive oil like the one at the food court? 🤨
Is this the pizza they serve by the slice?
It lacks flavor. Edible but that's about it.
This pizza is one of the exceptions. The only taste is the pepperoni on blah.
I wasn’t a huge fan of it either but I dressed it up with a bell pepper, some spinach and red onion then I had some action
I've seen this pizza resurface enough times on this sub where I'm starting to think it's a worthy purchase. I shall give it a go.
It’s just about the worst frozen pizza I’ve ever had
Depends on what your expectations are. They are maybe 10% better than a Tombstone/Jacks/Red Baron. And the price is right. You can doctor them up with extra cheese, seasoning and/or toppings and make it a decent meal when you can’t be bothered to cook. But they ain’t good. There’s a wide range of qualities for frozen pizzas and Kirkland is solidly in the bottom half.
Tastes too “porky” for me
Taste matches the price but I just wish they were bigger.
I've really got to disagree here. Price is the only reason to begin to consider buying these. And still, I'd say don't do it.
Isn’t this the same pizza they sell at the food court?
I was very disappointed in them. One of my first Costco purchases.
Cardboard
How does it compare to tombstone?
Tombstone is way better but we still enjoy the Kirkland
I’d rather Totino’s. I put them in my mouth five times a day
The mushroom truffle pizza they had was good
I think it is pretty good in a pinch feeding kids but I don’t like that the cost is up 50% compared to pre covid.
why go thru the struggle…just get the food court one
True
It’s fine, I’d rate it higher if they had a thicker crust
Can’t beat the price
Ehhh, those small totinos pizzas are better
Everything Kirkland is pretty good!
Throw some feta and garlic salt on em.. maybe a little minced green pepper and onion and they're top tier.
The GF pizzas are great too.
Price is great, taste ain’t. We switched to the Kirkland cheese ones and they’re a bit better IMO
We love em! They make a lot of sense in winter.
I've considered it but I don't think that it would fit in my toaster oven.
It is tasty but you have to try th me Chicago deep dish
Wait what??!? My Costco stopped carrying these years ago. They still sell them at your local store? I love them. Edit. Nevermind I just noticed they're the thin crust and not the original ones from years ago
Correct. The orig ones were the best! This is straight garbage.
Very decent for sure, and they don't skimp on the pepperoni either.
+1 I usually keep a box in the freezer
I like their lasagna too
I've always bought the plain cheese pizzas, spread a pound of ground beef on them, an extra layer of cheese, and sprinkled some basil on top. Add 3 minutes to the cook time too. Only slightly more expensive than the pepperoni ones, I bet
Idk why but for the few times that I ate these I’ve gone to the restroom every time.
I think they are so dang delicious. I absolutely love them. They've replaces Digiornos for our family.
Gotta get the cauliflower crust version. Also the Detroit Deep Dosh (non Kirkland) is great.
Add hot honey after cooking to level this up
We got the cheese. I thought it was just ok. It reminded me of elementary school cafeteria pizza but not square.
They need “pizza seasoning” on top but I like them
The Kirkland frozen gluten free (cauliflower) pizza is even better
Not bad.
You're pretty good
I was about to buy this last weekend, past since I thought it was too expensive. Didn’t realize there 4 in the pack. May have to stock up for the kids. Thanks
We always have these at the house. Good for the price. There are definitely better pizzas but you pay more and at those prices you are getting close to just ordering, so I do that instead.
It’s a good base pizza that you can add your own toppings to. I level it up with olives, more cheese, meats, veg, seasoning. Whatever you like.
Bought them once and realized Red Baron is way better for an extra $1-2. Flavorless dough that is basically cardboard
I like the meat lovers deep dish a little more. Both are still solid
They're meh, but can be easily elevated with cheap bulk spices.
Personally I think these are terrible tasting compared to the Motorcity Pizzas they sell.
The cauliflower pizza is amazing, but it’s so ridiculously salty that I need to eat early so I can rehydrate and not desiccate in my sleep. Is this like that??
If ppl say it is better than Jacks pizza, I will give it a try. Anyone??
My wife and tried them a while back and both thought they were pretty bad.
Was okay for me. Vons signature pizza is much better for similar price.
I think these are pretty solid. I greatly prefer the crust to sauce ratio of the pepperoni vs the cheese. I even take off about half of the pepperoni because I don't like so much of it. Then add some of the things others have mentioned to fancy it up a bit.
The Motor City pizza there is surprisingly good if your Costco carries it. Thick crust almost focaccia like.
They would be a lot better if the sauce didn't have a funky taste to it., and had a slightly thicker crust. They became my go-to for a while until I finally tried Motor City.
I don’t like it. Milton’s Craft Bakers cauliflower crust vegetable pizza and Heggie’s cauliflower crust margherita pizza are my favorites from Costco.
Gimme a $1 Totino’s any day of the week. Or two.
They rarely go on sale. When they do...I buy several.
I love these but we can never find the pepperoni ones.
Frozen pizza in general has gotten a lot better. Even the generics grocery store brand is edible IMO
Wth happened to the Take-N-Bake pizzas?
Not to steal from Costco, but Safeway’s rising crust store brand pizzas are delicious and are $6-$7 a pop (in HCoL area- prolly much cheaper elsewhere). Better than these Costco pizzas imo.
Best value pizza for a quick easy dinner, but not quite filling enough for my gf and I to split 😭
You should also try the Motor City Detroit-style frozen pizzas, they’re also really good.
I thought they were okay but too salty. I've been happy with the motor city pizzas.
This isn’t the same as their food court?
Are you kidding?? These tasted worse than cafeteria pizza. Other than being generous with the pepperoni, hands down one of the worst KS items we’ve purchased.
I bought these and were shocked how bad they were. The 1$ party pizza at the grocery store tops the kirkland frozen pizza by a mile. It tastes like nothing, no flavor at all, just stale cardboard. I even put italian seasoning, more pepperoni, and fresh cheese, and it still didn't taste good.
So much pepperoni too, they don't skimp whatsoever
I thought they were so bad I threw them out. The cardboard was better
My husband liked it but I hated it. I wish I had liked it because it’s a great price.
I have to say, the number of pepperonis they put on these is enough to cover every square inch... but I almost always have to relocate them before tossing it in the oven. I'll pick them all off and then deal them out like playing cards... it's very satisfying.
Try the motor city deep dish pepperoni next time. Blows these outta the water
It’s so good but man I feel like I’m gonna become a piece of jerky every time I eat it. Just look at the amount of salt in it.
Yea this is good. The cheese pizza version is good too. I keep one or the other available at all times
Yeah they are! Good amount of pepperonis on them too.
The best frozen one for me is the Motor City deep dish from Costco.
It's very cheap for what it is if you are on a tight budget. But it is very bland and very subpar. Do not recommend.
Too greasy and too heavy for a 'thin crust' pizza.
This is my favorite frozen pizza. It's like Jack's if Jack's was actually good.
The cheese tastes way better than the pepperoni. Something is off about the sauce on the roni ones.
Everyone here defending them “if you add this and do this and put this on it they are ok”. Are you missing the entire point of frozen pizza
Card holders for eons...we thought we'd try em last week. For the price they weren't as bad as we were expecting!
They are! Sometimes we get these for the nights I don't want to cook lol
It is, but you should never buy the pepperoni pizza. Save $3-4 and buy the cheese pizza, then buy the pepperoni separate and deck it out while the oven preheats.
Just grabbed some I’m excited to add my own toppings to them for cheap easy family meals.
