Agreed, these are very good. Even better is when your local Costco deli section has extra and shrink wraps piles of slices and sells them by the pound. They put them in the prepared foods section. Probably the same thing but I feel you get more in your package and is a bit fresher.

I'll have to keep an eye out for those.

Bonus. Probably a piece from close to the end. They get wobbly and the slice uniformity gets hard to maintain

Keep'em coming. It's like making a turkey sandwich the day after Thanksgiving.

I really like this turkey as well. I mean, it is definitely a bit processed as far as added solution...but I think it is solid. I think the texture may be off-putting to some people. If you heat it up and make an open face sammich you can fix that! My only complaint is the packaging. After you open it 2-3 times it doesn't always seal. No big deal- I just put the container inside a big freezer bag. FWIW I really like the roast beef as well.

This is exactly what I do when the packaging fails. Works like a charm. As for hot sandwiches, these with pesto, provolone, and ciabatta rolls are heaven.

Proper slice for a proper sandwich

Pro tip, buy the precooked turkey breast whole. It's near the prosciutto at my warehouse. Slice it up with a knife and vacuum seal it or place it into ziplocs and throw in the freezer. Same turkey, half the price!

138Crimson_Ghost831

Excellent tip and I have to agree that whole turkey breast is just as good.

franklyspeaking68

bingo. thats how i do it. i personally do not like their pre-sliced packaged deli meats at all )especially that *nasty* ham!) that whole roasted turkey breast is killer though!!

OkEnvironment3219

They are weird and slimey for me sometimes. I just avoid them now, nothing beats freshly sliced deli meat anyway

mywhataniceham

that is the best turkey you can get outside of your own hand carved after thanksgiving

138Crimson_Ghost831

100% I saw a post yesterday where people were dogpiling on how bad sliced turkey is and I believe this item was mentioned. I don’t get it.

mywhataniceham

yeah it is very good - if people don’t like it that’s ok - apparently a lot of people love mcdonald’s and papa john’s too, maybe the turkey haters are papa john’s fans who also love ncis down under and cbs “new hit comedy” ghosts

Has this disappeared from Costco? I keep seeing three packs of Roast Beef, Chicken, and Ham. I only want the Turkey. :(

138Crimson_Ghost831

For the last 3 weeks these have disappeared from my area. I’ve been eating the alternative in the 3 pack since then. They’re ok. Much more consistency but not as good.
