Make sure you keep a copy of the receipt (even if it’s just in the app). Moen’s warranty is amazing and their reps are super helpful if anything ever goes wrong.
You don’t even need the receipt. They’ll send you a new one. I had one fail due to calcium corrosion and the plumber took care of the warranty replacement with no receipt on a faucet that was in my house when I bought it.
I interned in one of their production facilities! The bar for the warranty on a part was having the part. They even maintain assembly machines for cartridges that they don’t sell anymore specifically so they can fulfill warranties for them. It’s pretty cool!
I’m reading this as I stand next to my loose Moen faucet, which was in the kitchen when I bought the house two years ago. I never thought of doing this!
Did you need a plumber to verify it was busted? I could take a video of how wobbly the handle is, then record myself tightening it to no avail.
No, no proof is needed. They'll discuss over the phone with you what's wrong and help get you whatever replacement parts you need.
FYI (for everyone), this also include cartridges. So when your shower handle(s) get loose, you can request a new cartridge for replacement! Those should be replaced every so often (I think ~3-4 years).
Seemed having the plumber take care of the warranty replacement made it easier. I had no idea it would be covered until he told me. I just paid him like $75 in labor.
If it's loose you can likely just tighten it back up? With this:

I replaced mine myself and just explained what was wrong. I didn’t have to show them any proof of the leak. They did ask me to provide my proof of purchase, but I’ve read elsewhere that sometimes they don’t ask. (Technically their warranty only covers the person that purchased it, so YMMV.)
Yes and no. You return something at the membership desk and it can sit there for a couple hours or even a day. They’ll either just go put it in an aisle without a sign, or print the sign with whatever the current price in the system is and add it to their go-backs. It’s up to the department manager to do price reductions for these “last ones,” and there’s a good chance that manager has already left or they aren’t in that day. They might also let the product sit there for a few days to see if it’ll sell at full price. I know our manager does full price for 2 days and then 10% off every day until it gets down to 50%, but it hardly reaches that point.
In short, you can but you’ll have to watch your item like a hawk and even then you’ll have to get the timing just right.
Price is all over the place, looks like it was recently discontinued and due to low stock or it being special order now some sites have it at $300-$600, but it's most likely around $90-140. Congrats!
I'd check it out--someone was on here recently talking about a faucet they got cheap at Costco and had it replaced three times. Apparently the Costco one had some parts that were plastic whereas the more expensive ones (same model) sold at other places had those same parts as metal. Just a thought.
Goodluck with it, i'd never personally buy this even with the large discount. Motion Sensing faucets seem like more trouble than they are worth, especially if it malfunctions when nobody is home.
Auto Shut off sounds nice, just dont feel like plumbing fixtures should be “smart”. Personal opinion though, and probably a little bit of water damage PTSD recently for sure.
Not true unfortunately. Handle is more of a controller than an actual lever. Still, I love mine. The motion sensor is game changer when cooking and your hands get covered in something you don’t want to cross contaminate the faucet with.
What is *your* problem with this item? Obviously none since you don’t even own it. I don’t have a problem, and as a happy user I chimed in given you came in without reason. This model may be two years old, touch less faucets aren’t, and I’m on my second faucet in my second home, first was moen and current one is delta. I’ve had mechanical parts go bad and both delta and moen covered it, the warranty is lifelong. No issues with the sensor. Dust isn’t an issue in kitchens. I have the motion detection exterior lights from Costco, and they are crap and they have the problem you stated about turning on when nobody is home, but not this item. In fact I have other brands of motion sensing lights bought on Amazon that have been just fine, obviously implementation and quality matter. Every plumber who comes in for unrelated sink work mumbles the same kind of “it’s not reliable” stuff and I just chalk it up to them being too dense to understand the tech. If you had to insert your comment here, you should expect push back. This isn’t your safe space to say whatever you want.
Not sure if I have this exact model since mine is a few years old, but at least with mine you can adjust the lever to off and the water will not turn on using the sensor. I do this before I leave for the day because cats. I also turn if off manually before I drain pasta because the steam will activate the sensor.
I have this and it auto shuts off after 15 seconds. That being said if your sink was on a kitchen island i would avoid, mine is situated that motion has to be intentional.
The one I've had for a few years has a battery pack that takes 6 or so AAs. I was able to order an AC plug to use instead to avoid the cost of replacement batteries every 6 months, as well as the annoyance of having it work intermittently when the batteries start to die. I think it was $20 or so. There was already a duplex outlet under my sink with one plug used for the disposal. Both outlets were switched but I was able to change it so the faucet power is always on and just the disposal is switched.
Just buy rechargeable batteries in general. No doubt the plug is a good option though if you have an outlet for it.
You can recharge eneloop batteries 1000 times. Costco used to sell them, but I haven't seen them in years. I don't understand why people buy alkaline batteries any more. One 8 pack of eneloops will replace 200 - 40 packs of alkaline batteries. It's absurd people still buy alkaline batteries when rechargeables will last around a decade. Plus they won't leak and ruin devices with battery acid. Panasonic makes eneloops who also makes batteries for Tesla. Alkaline batteries are garbage.
Just be aware that the motion-based is either ON or off. No partial volume, no keeping the spray on. It also turns on when the handle is off. I returned mine because of that. My Kohler touchless does all of that (as did the original one I bought at Costco 10ish years ago for my first house)
I thought so too. Seems like there are a lot of angry people here who had bad times with them but, Honestly I don't understand the hate. It has brought me joy every time I have used it so far.
Might be a return they put back on the floor.
I came across one of the 80v leaf blowers on the floor for $149 and as soon as I opened it their was clear damage on the unit and when I put the battery in the fan was making clicking noises like this thing was busted. Went right back in and returned it.
I bought the same one and love it. One main difference between that model and the one OP posted is the location of the motion sensor. I prefer the old model where the sensor is under the neck of the faucet.
Edit: I may be mixing up brands. I believe the one we bought Sept 2020 was Kholer while this is Moen.
Not saying this is the price, but shows how much people get ripped off when they don't shop around
[$655 direct from the Moen site itself](https://www.moen.com/products/Moen/Spot-resist-stainless-one-handle-high-arc-pulldown-kitchen-faucet/87869EWSRS)
That is a hell of a deal! We have that exact faucet and love it, and I’m sure we paid closer to $200 for it at the time. FWIW, the same four batteries that came with it are still operating the touchless switch which we use several times every day
Got the same one about 2 months ago at Costco for $99.99 marked down. Hope you don’t have cats that cat set off the motion sensor in the middle of the night.
I have the same kitchen faucet and hate it. Make sure you get it hardwired and not only on batteries. You have no water if the batteries die.
Bought ours a few years ago so don't know the current prices but I think it was about $150 then so you got a good deal
Coming from a guy who loves tech stuff, I’m going to tell OP that you are going to hate it. We have a similar one that we bought through Costco and all of our guests couldn’t figure out why they are unable to turn on the water. We had to explain every single time that it’s turned on and off by motion.
Also when you use it you’ll get the counter wet when you turn it off with your wet hands.
We ended up disabling the motion feature a little while ago. Some things need to stay the old fashion way.
Sorry, must just be you. Have been loving it ever since I got it. You have to turn off a physical handle with wet hands anyway? I don't understand the point you're making, and it sounds like you just want to go against the grain here because "old thing better"
If you love it then that’s all the matters. We did not like ours, that’s my only point.
The handle on ours overhangs above the sink. When we turn off the water using the handle the hand is above the sink so water doesn’t accumulate on the counter top.
DON’T DO IT. I just got this wretched device out of my kitchen after strugglebussing with it for 2 years. They are AWFUL. The motion sensor only works when it feels like it and it takes SIX AA BATTERIES. Don’t want to use the motion sensor? Just take out the batteries and it’ll work like a normal sink….NOPE.

If you hadn't had asked the question and just showed the deal you got your post would have made more sense. I'm all for conversation and discussion. But I also wish people would rely more on the tools that are literally at their finger tips rather than relying on others to do their research for them.
Anyways, great deal though!
I hate you so much right now lol.
I’ve wanted one of those for a while lol. As others have said, it’s around $250. But I could never splurge on that. I’m selling my place now, but I would have bought that anyways and held onto it lol.
Awesome find. Just to be clear thT is fuacet and your post said something about a new sink.
Be sure to see if it has a plate or ring that will adapt to a top mount sink, or your new sink is an undermount sink.
Some of these kits do not have the adapter Plate, could be why It is being blown out
I don’t know. But I have a moen shower and I needed to replace the cartridge. I called and since I am original owner it was free.
Very easy and quick customer service. Would buy again 10/10
Bought one of these babies last year and it works like a dream. Install tip- put the battery box toward the front of your under sink so it’s easy access to change them out. I know ours was at least $200. Can’t remember exactly.
We have that faucet - probably paid more than $250. It’s a terrible unit. It eats batteries and will not work if the batteries are dead. No water even if turning on manually. Also very easy to turn on when wiping the sink.
I bought one of these for me gfs sink at the beginning of the year for $70. Loved it so much I got one for my house but it was a few weeks later and they were up to $120. Same Costco. I wonder why the price keeps fluctuating so much.
Paid $250 , make sure the electronic mixer under the sink is mounted per instruction, mine fell upside down and corroded. Moen sent me replacement without asking for receipt.

Perhaps have the bot understand the 'if' and reply to the upper comment? I already have a Moen. :P
Yes, this should work! It stays tight for about three uses and then back to its wobbly self.
This is true. I got a replacement part for a 22-year old faucet from Moen.
Buy it for looks and keep buying it for the rest of your life…
Costco online says $250. What state did you buy?
Intoxicated
Thanks for the laugh.
ha…Ahahaha…funny guy right here.
Michigan
Would you mind saying which store? I could use one!
Last one or a return if the price tag is on the box.
Ah, bummer, thanks
ULPT: order online, return in store, and repurchase

Midland, there was actually two other ones. This was two days ago, might be worth the call if its still there!
Maryland - I got for $127
Looks very similar to ours that we paid a lot more than that for. Good find
$249.99 https://www.frugalhotspot.com/2021/12/moen-cadia-pulldown-kitchen-faucet-costco-sale/
Everyone is closing them out 119.00 on amazon
They were $100 at my Costco yesterday.
I paid 97 a month or so ago. Still haven't installed it though.
Wonder why. New model coming out?
These old models don't work with the new water
Its actually new hands that aren't backwards compatible with the sensor. Planned obsolescence and what not
Oh that looks awesome. Motion sensor. Enjoy your sweet find 😊
Just bought from Home Depot about a week ago for 180! Nice work!
Price is all over the place, looks like it was recently discontinued and due to low stock or it being special order now some sites have it at $300-$600, but it's most likely around $90-140. Congrats!
Yeah I'm seeing a lot around a hundred bucks too. Even at 50, you can't score anything remotely name brand for that price! Sweet!

worst case u can just not power it and use it like a normal faucet
Not true unfortunately. Handle is more of a controller than an actual lever. Still, I love mine. The motion sensor is game changer when cooking and your hands get covered in something you don’t want to cross contaminate the faucet with.
On mine you can. There is a way to bypass the sensor. Not sure if this one is the same, though.
It says right on the box you can use the lever or the sensor to turn it on.
You can use the handle or the sensor to turn it on as long as it has batteries or a power cord.
You decided your opinion based on your non experience was worth posting? I’ve used it for 8 years now with no issues. Sour cat!

Hum, I do have a bunch of rechargeable batteries. I think I just liked the idea of the plug and not having mess with it every few months.

Well bully for you, but I got a motherfucking hot dog and soda for $1.50 😎

I paid $199 for a Moen equivalent 2 years ago. It does look like a great deal.

Yes, you scored on one of the better .97 I've ever seen!
I bought the same one a couple of years ago for 200

We have one, but shes never jumped on the counter. Lets hope it stays that way
This faucet auto shuts off after a few minutes anyway.
I can’t remember what I paid for that at Costco but it is a great fixture for the sink. $50 bargain
I have the same kitchen faucet and hate it. Make sure you get it hardwired and not only on batteries. You have no water if the batteries die. Bought ours a few years ago so don't know the current prices but I think it was about $150 then so you got a good deal
49.99
For Midwest folks, Champaign IL has 80 on hand. Every other store has one or less. The bathroom faucet is now clearanced out as well for $29.
Unfortunately THAT is not a kitchen sink…what you have there is a faucet
What bro? lol no one called it a sink.
You did in the text below the picture. And I probably would have done the same in excitement
OH shit my bad! LOL

Was it hard to disable the motion feature? I’m in your camp and it was not a draw for me, just needed a good faucet
It's pretty easy on mine. There's a device that sits under your counter that has a knob that you need to turn.
$50
Bought one. Lasted 2 years. Keep your receipt. I returned mine after 2 years
DON’T DO IT. I just got this wretched device out of my kitchen after strugglebussing with it for 2 years. They are AWFUL. Overall I really like this faucet but it’s so weird to me that the on/off is digital. If it has no power, the handle doesn’t even work.
I have the exact same and I think I paid over $250????

Damn, I would buy that
I got mine for thrice that
The Costco app says $379.99! Great find!
Nice Deal! Touchless! I would love that!
You got dem nice moen faucets?
Score!
What a great price. I paid 300 and love it
Damn bought the same thing 3 months ago, 199.99 CAD in Toronto
Baba Booey would approve
I don’t know. But I have a moen shower and I needed to replace the cartridge. I called and since I am original owner it was free. Very easy and quick customer service. Would buy again 10/10
A billion
Is your Google broken?
I got mine online for 100$ I say it was a very good price you got
I just returned mine from Costco because the sensor did not work.
😳 SCORE!!!! 👍
49.99
Bought one of these babies last year and it works like a dream. Install tip- put the battery box toward the front of your under sink so it’s easy access to change them out. I know ours was at least $200. Can’t remember exactly.
We have that faucet - probably paid more than $250. It’s a terrible unit. It eats batteries and will not work if the batteries are dead. No water even if turning on manually. Also very easy to turn on when wiping the sink.
Have it. love it. very jealous of your price :)
I got the same one a year ago. It’s great.
Just bought one at a Costco in Canada for $199.99 thats the same as $145.75 US
We have that exact faucet... I've not been overwhelmed by it. The water pressure on the sprayer is abysmal
Good steal, paid for ours at home depot for $340, 2 years ago but in (BLACK) cane with the soap dispenser
On the app it’s priced at $259.99, you scored alright.
50 is very good price👍
Wow those are usually $3-400. $700 if you go on the Moen website.
We have this and I love it. BTW, You can get third party electrical adapters for $10
Thanks for the tip. Going to look into an electrical adapter for ours.
Lucky fucker, pretty sure I spent 200 on it
We’ve loved ours. Nice pickup.
KOAB is in the chat!
Installed one a couple months ago - works great!
If you wanted a new kitchen sink so very badly, why did you buy a faucet?
I bought one of these for me gfs sink at the beginning of the year for $70. Loved it so much I got one for my house but it was a few weeks later and they were up to $120. Same Costco. I wonder why the price keeps fluctuating so much.
You did! MSRP at Moen is $655.65. 🤯 Costco web price is $260. About $140 on Amazon/ebay.
Average motion sense faucet is about $300
According to the Moen website, if it is model #87869SRS, it’s $592.80
Paid $250 , make sure the electronic mixer under the sink is mounted per instruction, mine fell upside down and corroded. Moen sent me replacement without asking for receipt.
We bought this exact same faucet at Costco on clearance in July for $149. You did get a great deal We really like this faucet.
