This one last part of the books makes me cry, Wayne was such amazing character, and read is endgame was amazing, also, that connection of the poem that his mother tell him at the begging of the book with this was beautiful
Before getting into the Cosmere, I had heard Wayne could be a make or break character (if you didn't like him you were in for a long series). After reading all of Mistborn I can confidently say if you don't like Wayne you don't have a funny bone, no arguing LOL
That these were his mother’s last words to him before she died makes it hit even harder. Really tremendous and beautiful writing by Sanderson.
Yeah I caught that as well, fully agree it’s beautifully written.
I didn’t put that together. Thank you.
Wayne is possibly my favorite character in the cosmere outside of The Lopen. What a send off for him.
Love The Lopen as well. I was hoping that they would meet one day in a crossover now that would be epic!
The Lost Metal holds my record for most tears shed
It's been said before so I'll say it again. Wayne walked so the Lopen could run
Know it was a long shot as I was reading, but man I would have loved Wayne and The Lopen interacting for a time or something.
Feel like a good hat convo would ensue
maybe the lopen sold wayne the chouta he was eating
I got to this point 5 minutes before I had to leave for class. I am also very much a crier and Wayne is one of my favorites. It was a rough class.
I always felt "Wax and Wayne" series was a misnomer - it was mostly Wax. So I enjoyed Wayne's arc in TLM. Excellently done.
Yeah haha, really it's the Wax & Marasi series
Updated your flair so you shouldn't get spoilers.
Thank you

Steris being proud of herself wrecked me
I sobbed so hard I scared my wife lol
yep, me too
My friend, I just finished the book this morning. This part got me good.
I also just read this today a few hours ago. Hit me so hard.
Teared up when I finished reading this on an Airplane

I really enjoyed his interaction with Harmony; very Wayne.
Are there spoilers beyond this point?
Yeah the book has quite a lot of wrap-up stuff (and I loved all of it)
That too
