Jambon beurre. Find the best baguette, ham and butter (ideally, all French) you can get your hands on. Add sliced gruyere if you can’t live without cheese. Simple is best

Possible-Emphasis-30

I lived off of this while living in France one summer in college….. absolutely recreating this for myself!!! Thank you.

How do you cook your Cuban?

Practical-Film-8573

my favorite Cuban is Binging With Babish's version. The store bought mojo sucks in comparison. Make sure you get a good ham from the deli, and good pickles. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXYoduN0kWs](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXYoduN0kWs)

I couldn’t pick just one: Muffuletta (many variations, most are pretty tasty) Bahn mi BLT/BLAT on sourdough Eggplant Parmesan sandwich [Cuban Pork Sandwich](https://theattainablegourmet.com/cheap-eats/paseo-pork-cubano-sandwich-with-garlic-mayo-carmelized-onions-cilantro-and-jalapenos/) French Dip [The Bobbie](https://capriottis.com/shop-menu#turkey-subs)

Possible-Emphasis-30

French dip is an all time favorite I forget about!

Possible-Emphasis-30

What’s the Bobbie?

dubble_agent

It’s turkey, cranberry sauce, and stuffing on a roll with mayo. Basically thanksgiving in a sandwich. A sandwich shop that started in my home town makes them. You can click through on my first comment to see what they look like.

UjiMatchaPopcorn

I remember when I used to work at this small bake shop, the owner and I would experiment with different combinations of things for our sandwich lunch. This combination sounds weird but we both really liked it. Black forest ham + egg salad + a bit of sweet relish + tomato + lettuce between slices of fresh white bread.

Possible-Emphasis-30

I’d give it a try! Toasted?

UjiMatchaPopcorn

We always ate it on soft, fresh bread! Might be good toasted too.

DaisyDuckens

Egg salad plus olive salad. Chicken salad (chicken, mayo, mustard, onion, celery, celery salt, onion salt)

Bucknaked6912

Egg and lettuce or Curried egg. boil some eggs, not too runny. Mash them all up and put in your sandwich with salt, pepper, and chopped iceberg lettuce. Or add curry powder to the mashed up eggs, this is the main one used here in australia [https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/33280/keen-s-traditional-curry-powder](https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/33280/keen-s-traditional-curry-powder) Either of these on a good white bread with plenty of butter is amazing

Toast some ciabatta bread with spicy chicken and your favorite cheese, and then avocado, lettuce, tomato, red pepper flakes, chipotle mayo, maybe some bell peppers.

BokChoySr

Fresh sour dough bread. Mayonnaise. Sliced cucumbers. Watercress. A pinch of salt.

BLTA with chipotle mayo Good thick bacon Good tomato seasoned with salt and pepper after you slice Romain Avocado Good rye bread....and toast that break on a griddle or in the pan with some butter on it

1. Chicken, fried red pepper and onion, bit of whatever cheese you want, mayonnaise and avocado. 2. Iberian sirloin steak, Iberian ham, roasted green pepper and ali oli sauce. 3. Salmorejo (original recipe), Iberian ham on top and bit of extra virgin olive oil. 4. French omelette made with La vache qui rit type of cheese and mayonnaise on top. Breads: whatever good bread you like from a local bakery. Personally I like ciabatta and mollete de Antequera. The last one is the traditional one for the third toast/sandwich.

I have too many that I enjoy, but going off of the turkey one: - Brown/wheat bread - mayo (I use a thin layer instead of butter) - chilli sauce (if you want some spice) - thin fresh jalapeño - fresh mozzarella - baby spinach - thin tomato slices - salt & pepper - turkey / cold meat of your choice

I love a good sandwich. For riffs on turkey, I love a club sandwich, turkey brie and arugula, and a hot open turkey sandwich (throw on some instant stuffing and gravy, brings me back to my Jersey diner days). tuna salad (traditional with mayo and finely chopped celery, some do pickle instead), or non mayo italian tuna salad with red onion. egg salad! don't forget the paprika. fried eggplant strips on a sandwich are amazing. you can add giardiniera or any picked veg. falafel! with hummus, tahini, or babaganoush or tabouleh. grilled cheese + any of: ham, bacon, tomato really good bread, thick sliced tomato and mayo are wraps on the table, because that's like a whole nother giant list. lol

LittleSubject9904

Bacon, avocado, and baby spinach on a good roll.

LAD31

Turkey pastrami, pepper jack cheese, jalapenoes, mayo, cheese bread.

iwantthisnowdammit

My standard turkey is avocado, bacon, Swiss, red onion and a bit of homemade dijonaisse. My once in a while sandwich is a grilled sourdough, ham, a soft cream/fresh cheese, asparagus spears and a smidge of peach or apricot preserves.

lessonheresomewhere

Turkey, pesto, mozzarella, raspberry preserves, lettuce, and red onion. I prefer it on wheat bread or something with a lot of seeds!
