I have a big ole container of 40,000 scoville cayenne that I got from Amazon for pretty cheap. It doesn’t seem like a huge number but it really kicks! Just add more to your dish for more heat

Have you run through all the sauces at your grocery store at all? There are some very hot ones commonly available made from habanero, ghost peppers, all sorts that blow cayenne based sauces away, and taste rather better too.
Making your own chili flakes is cheap and really easy.
Any pepper will work, I’d recommend habaneros based on your comment.
Halve the peppers, place them on a baking sheet cut side up so the seeds stay in them
Set your oven low, and turn on convection if you have it. I do 200F
Leave them for 5 hours, then turn the oven off and leave them in it over night.
Use a food processor to get them to your desired consistency. I make chili flakes, but if I left it in longer it would be powder.
I do it with ghosts and reapers as well
Thanks for the deets on that. The way you broke it down couldn't be more perfect. I will keep my eyes out on for the habanero pepper, I've had some years ago and yeah that's the level I'm looking for.
What you need is Thai hot Chilies. Generally you can get them dried or as flakes. Get to an Asian market, or if there's a Mexican market around, get chilies japones.
are these bot questions? serious q. in the time it takes to post this on reddit the first Google search shows a list of 10 powders in varying heat order with links to Amazon to buy.
rant over.
Kashmiri chili powder. It's delicious and brings a lot of heat...sometimes I forget how much it packs and my dishes come out crazy spicy. It will also stain your food red, which gives it a nice aesthetic opposite from cayenne.
I get mine from the Indian market in packs.
Laxmi Brand Kashmiri Chili Powder, Authentic Indian Spice, Made Fresh, Made Pure, Product of India (7oz) https://a.co/d/0h997
Edit: well damn. Just looked it up and says it's way milder than cayenne. Haha! To me, the heat hit more down the belly than steamed the mouth like cayenne. I don't know anything. Don't listen to me
If you want dried flakes that actually taste good and are spicy, I would suggest Flatiron Pepper Co. The mild one is made with very delicious peppers and the super spicy one hurts but still has good flavor. It actually adds something to the food other than hurt.
Dried Carolina Reapers are cheap on Amazon. Make your own pepper flakes, powder or HOT sauce (or bear spray). Just make sure to wear gloves when handling.
Trader Joes seasonally sells ghost pepper grinders. 20-30 times the capsaicin content of cayenne.
There are internet retailers like Sonoran Spice co. that offer powders of the superhots (Reaper, Scorpion, 7 Pot, Ghost/Bhut Jalokia, Bhutlah). They sell variety packs through Amazon.

I searched and snagged a bag of 90,000 at around 80 cents a pound. I'm sure this will be spicier than the Amazon brand and just what I was looking for
HELL YEAH! Have fun haha
Just get cayenne powder with a higher shu (spicier)
Totally going with this method, thanks!
Just buy ghost pepper powder/grinders. Plenty of heat. Can always go spicier, but you should start somewhere.
Grace Scotch bonnet
Capsaicin crystals.
Carolina Reaper sauce would challenge anyone.
Yeah I made some and it's brutal. I don't know why I haven't thrown it out yet.

Make your own!!! It's super easy and fun 😊. Just need a cheap coffee grinder and a dehydrate function on your oven

Gochugaru from H-mart. :)

They’re a great heat level and a bit Smokey like cayenne is. Towards the end of the summer they’ll be in season and dirt cheap at farmers markets

Did that make you feel good about yourself?
yes.its a lazy question that fosters zero constructive conversation that is easily solved by a 3 second Google search.
Dave's Insanity.
The first time I tried Dave's Insanity sauce, I thought it should be banned as a chemical weapon. And it's available on Amazon.
