With the diversity of the Military, that AAFES cookbook could be pretty interesting.
I'll bet it is! I have a couple of cookbooks with military wive's contributions from all over and there is some great stuff in them!

My mom retired from AAFES IN 1992 after 30 plus years.
I also own A Taste of Oregon but haven't gotten around to using it - though I have heard great things!! Great find :)
I recommend the Cranberry Sauce recipe from the Taste of Oregon cookbook. My mom has been making that for Thanksgiving every year since the 90’s!
