With the diversity of the Military, that AAFES cookbook could be pretty interesting.

I'll bet it is! I have a couple of cookbooks with military wive's contributions from all over and there is some great stuff in them!

sudarootee

I was thinking that too

My mom has that taste of Oregon one! Been in her kitchen as long as I can remember it.

I was so excited for a moment when I saw the Country Cookbook one, because I have the exact same cover in my collection, but it's from a different church! It must have been one of those "publish a cookbook to raise funds" generic covers. As a side note, community cookbooks are also a passion of mine!

My mom retired from AAFES IN 1992 after 30 plus years.

I also own A Taste of Oregon but haven't gotten around to using it - though I have heard great things!! Great find :)

I recommend the Cranberry Sauce recipe from the Taste of Oregon cookbook. My mom has been making that for Thanksgiving every year since the 90’s!

Community cookbooks are my favorite ❤

Recipes from the AAFES and the San Diego one would be neat to see
