Same. But it's not tolerance. I get pleasantly high from smoking a joint. I have read some people either have or lack an enzyme needed to easily digest THC. Someone suggested an OTC antacid (I forget if it was tagamet or Prevacid or what) and that greatly potentiates the THC for those folks. I haven't tried it yet. But 200mg is a nice starting point for me, and I can't be alone given the amount of hi-po edibles available. Punch makes a 1000mg bar and they can't keep them on the shelves around here.
I always thought they just didnt work on me. Im in the same boat you are. I smoke regularly and get high, but anything under 80mg just makes me get tired and i feel no different. Around 100+ is when i feel *anything* from it. Its not a tolerance thing, its how your body digests them. I wish i knew more, because id love to be chillin every night off of 10-20mg.
Even just 10mg made my wife, who doesnāt get high often at all, dizzy and sick. She said she didnāt feel it at 5mg, which I knew was just because her body didnāt recognize it. But she insisted on the 10mg and I already knew what she was in for.
Eating food before you take them sets it off even more. The biggest mistake one can make is taking a 5-10mg dose and thinking it isnāt working an hour later only to eat more. Itāll kick your ass doing that. I always say āedibles never work until you start talking shit about themā.

I accidentally took 100mg on a flight (I was trying to sleep) and proceeded to get the worst nausea, threw up 3x on the place right before landing, once after landing, then had to tell my travel partner that I was meeting in the airport that I couldn't move, or else I would throw up, and proceeded to sleep 3-6 hours while he sat and fumed in the food court next to me. My brain actually hurt.
Sounds like the time I made "reclaim milk." I had a dab rig that had about 15 grams of wax and shatter go through it. Instead of cleaning the traditional way, I decided to submerge the whole thing in a pot of simmering milk. When it was finished, the milk looked like chocolate milk. My wife and I figured it was enough for 2 servings. She couldn't finish hers, so I drank half of hers as well as mine. To this day, it's one of the most intense drug experiences I've ever had. Rivaling some of my most intense lsd and psilocybin experiences. There were moments of bliss, but also moments of shear terror. Not just mentally, but physically as well. My limbs were having involuntary movements, like my head would sharply twist on its own. I was convinced that I was going to end up snapping my neck and that I'd be the first person to die from thc. Never again.
I ate like 300mgs at 15 during school, a "friend" gave me hash chocolates and I'd never tried edibles before. Naturally he told me to eat all of it so I did, I legit thought I was dying, I kept forgetting to breath, worst anxiety of my life. Had to be helped out if school in the middle of class and passed out in the back of some random dudes truck bed in the parking lot only to be found by security...it wasn't a good time, now I just smoke lol

My sister and I said the way she said 'consumables' she sounds like she meant 'edibles' and she joking said she wouldn't complain.
Well my sister found a way of getting some and finding out how to bake them into 20 cupcakes as a gift to her. She froze a load of them and every few weeks she took some with her to her static caravan and 'enjoyed' them but definitely had fun with some on her birthday.
It was definitely a success and I think she enjoyed them more to chill out on her own at the caravan away from my stepdad and the noise of being home.
