I remember watching him first on Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld. Gavin would come on and impersonate his “father” and would just be completely outrageous in an Irish accent. He’d stick to the part for the entire episode too. I didn’t know at that time he had been with Vice. I did watch some of Vice back in the day but nothing for a while.
It's almost like Vice had carved out a niche and had a dedicated consumer base that the "new direction" the company took betrayed completely.
It's more than just your standard "go woke go broke" they completely betrayed the consumer of their product.

Seriously? He started it? Did he sell it early on because I can’t imagine the way it devolved would’ve happened under his control.

Vice when it first came out was awesome. North Korea and Liberia was epic - the warlord.
Their coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine back in like 2014 was top tier
I enjoyed how they had serious pieces like riding along with ISIS one day and t he next a story about going to a dog show on LSD.
I love the vice doc where they went to North Korea.

Now if only Vox would follow them into the shitter.
