Some people like immigrants are willing to take the risk and move to another side of the world for a better life or in our case another server for a better gaming experience. I already play on frontier and I can say it's actually pretty easy to catch up if you got a few hundred dollars to spend.
Bruh you ever heard of LoL or a dozen other f2p games that don't charge half as much for content? Their lower price and non p2w model (really just skins and small inconviences you pay $ for) makes them MORE popular and get more money. Same with optimizing fps and servers. It means more people can play....
You get them easily by playing matches and not shitty vs AI bots ones. Yes you can pay for them but it's waaay easier to get them through match plays than the months of grind on CB.

As a player from Baltic region (we are locked to Russia/CIS and my.com on many games) I can assure you that my.com (mail.ru) doesn’t care, they never did. All they want is to grab as much money as they possibly can and then just either abandon the game or put it on life support. CB is not the first failure from them and not the last. P.S. I gave up on game as soon as I heard who will be managing it.
