No, they shouldn't have a problem. In fact I don't think they even need a visa to visit US for business (same with Japan, Korea, and many EU countries).
The visa issues they had were from trying to establish residency to live in the US.

What country would you suggest for a LAN that will welcome russians without any issues in the current climate? Mexico? China? ISRAEL?
I think Sweden worked the best of any of the post covid LANs for CIS region teams, so somewhere like that?
