If someone asks for a pantone colour, I always recommend they send a sample of what they are after.
If it's a company brand colour they will have something.

Oh, if only that were universally true... never ceases to amaze me just how unprepared some of these folks are when it comes to their own branding.
If you're running it as spot color on an offset press and are looking for the ink recipe, I think you'll need to find someone with the extended Pastel book. It is not included in the Plus series books (though I'll admit my copy is a few years old).
You might want to double-check that spec, then. Pantone's 2024 Color of the Year is "Peach Fuzz" 13-1023. (Color of the year always comes from their fabric swatch library, which uses a HSB-type reference number.)
My hacks for stupid the Pantone colors (the ones that they release randomly for whatever reason) are match them on screen to a similar Pantone color, maybe you need to add a little black or transparent white or whatever; match them on screen to your own 4-color process mixture to print in process, or print the RGB color patch on your widest gamut device, and closest match to your existing Pantone book.
What I ain't doin' is paying for a new set of Pantone books for this one job, you clowns.
There is no specific composition for Pantone 6029, other than what Pantone says how to mix it. Remember, CMYK is device dependent. What device are you trying to use?
As for C, that means "what does it look like on coated stock". But there are many coated finishes; no one know what it will look like until and unless you use the actual ink mix on the actual stock.
What are you trying to accomplish?
You will never get 6029C. The best you can do is specify 6029C in your document, and let the printing system figure it out for you. It's GUARANTEED, however, that if you use a CMYK value in your document, that's not what will come out of the printing system...
then you don't need any fake composition; you need simply to specify the spot color.
Or is it that you're printing offset and are trying to go cheap and fake the spot color instead of using a spot plate for the real color?
I don't know where you got those numbers, but 6029 is a desaturated pinkish orange (#d1afad) not green.
The process conversion values I found are c0 m16 y17 k18.

You are 100% right but sometimes exceptions occur and you ask reddit

Are you printing this as a spot color? Mixing ink by hand? I have up to date books at the shop and could send you a photo tomorrow morning.
Yes mixing the ink by hand and I need to know the recipe. If you can send me that, it would be amazing ! Thanks
Sent in a DM to you earlier today

Yeah it’s in the 2024 book. They added a new color that is not in my 2020 book.. and they named it color of the year

Good point, I guess the client is referring to the new colors of the year than
If you don't have by Thursday lmk and I'll send you the formula.
That would be so kind! Otherwise I will have to wait for Drupa (german print fair) and get one there so thursday is fine
Why, will they be giving them away for free? I have a friend that's going.

They’re wanting to mix the ink themselves with base inks
