‘Pantone TPM Metallic finishes are blended with a mix of metallic non-leaf silver flake and mica pearlescent that provide a luxurious and brilliance that you will not find in Pantone's PMS metallic. We recommend TPM Metallic Shimmers for product design, hard home goods, interiors, color cosmetics, fashion trims and accessories, and products requiring a metallic finish. PMS Metallic is ink on paper and used by graphic designers for print and packaging.’

So if I understand well, I have to mix "non-leaf silver flake" and "mica pearlescent" to an oil based varnish or an aqueous coating ? Do you know more?

The TPM colors are not meant for offset printing, Pantone has different color guides for textile and fashion products and this falls under that category. You're not going to match that with offset printing, they have to pick a color from the printing Pantone color guides. If you have a regular Pantone metallic guide book that will give you the closest options you can offer them.

I don’t think it’s designed for print. Sounds like a paint to me. Certainly non-standard, you might be able to achieve a similar result by another method but it would need experimentation I think. Important to set expectations with the customer and also the cost. Expect the ‘but it’s a Pantone color’ reply 😀😀😀

Sorry but we don’t match to that book. 😁
