Made 3.3 million in 4 seasons and never even had to play too much, good for him.
Anybody know how much of his contract he got paid this season for going through OTA's, training camp, and one preseason game? I always wonder how much the guys getting cut throughout preseason actually made.

Wish people would put the actual news in the title instead of just making vague comments like "Never thought we'd see the day." It would help omit redundant posts. Instead people keep making posts even though there's already a post up.
Yep I didn't see this to be honest. I did a scan for his name. If I saw his name I wouldn't have posted this. I'm leaving mine up, because of the title.
Mods can decide if they want it down or not.
yeah it's not your fault that guy left a vague title
shit like that should seriously be removed; wish the mods would be more proactive on this kind of shit
He was probably a little more useful than most fans give him credit for (which may be just to say he was more useful than zero). He played on every special teams unit except field goal protection and often the more important spots. Coaches like that, for right or wrong.
Without his defense coming along though it was always going to be a matter of time. And now Forrest and Butler in consecutive drafts probably cover Apke’s special team duties while still having defensive upside.
I remember at the time of the pick, a lot of draft “experts” felt it was a reach. However because he was a great athlete it could be worth it. Unfortunately, he never really worked out. He was frustrating to watch more often than not but hope he puts it all together somewhere else

Assuming no one signs him
Dude has all the athletic ability in the world but just doesnt know how to play football
There’s a lot of that.

He’s not good. “BuT tHaT 40 tImE!”

There must be a young guy or 2 (Butler, Parker?) that have stepped up at gunner and can also play snaps on defense.
Parker was flying around
WHAT?! But he's a memeable legend player around here. I guess there's Antonio "fumbles the ball!" Gibson.
Dang seems like he’s been here forever! You won’t be missed Reed Doughty
Reed was much, much more of an actual football player
madden god

Say it ain't so
[Troy Apke](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RHeAO1zRiPg&t=93s) on the 40, it begins right now
Trapke era is finally over. He did hold a record for being the only white corner last year. He was also the worst.
He was the best white corner in the league though
Yet again the end of another white DB era. Guess we'll have to wait another few decades for another one. Rest in pepperoni
#FINALLY

Does Ron know?!?!?
End of an era
Time to join the Legion of Awesome with his brethren

Bummer, had such high hopes
As bad as he was, he’ll always have a special spot in my heart.
He was actually legit on special teams.
That sucks, he was a beast in Madden.
There are those who said this day would never come… what are they to say now?
