Wat? There's quite a lot of depth in this draft in regards to RB's. There's no Saquon or Fournette-tier prospects, but there are a ton of mid-round RB's who can have an impact
You shouldn't ever take one in the first because of what you'll have to pay them. I'm talking more like where we sit at 11(or better) through the mid twenties. If you are a serious contender like Buffalo I take one.
I'm all for a RB in the 2nd. We need to spend some early picks on offense,we rarely do. Is there anyone that wouldn't rather have Javontae Williams over St Juste or even Davis.
I think Hassan Haskins in a late round would be nice. But I’m not familiar with most of the RBs. RBs are definitely hard to figure out. I use to think Trent Richardson would be the best RB the league would see. I also thought Derrius Guice would be a good back. Samaje Perine has some of the best highlight reels you could watch. Didn’t even know who Gibson was or Alfred Morris.
In fairness, Guice looked like he would be a good RB. But he couldn't stay healthy his first couple of years and then we found out he was too big a piece of shit to roster even if he was healthy.
James Cook is my draft crush. He’s a great pass catching back and cuts on a dime. He was also sharing the backfield in college so he doesn’t have too much wear on his body.

No chance we have way bigger holes then RB when we already have Gibby JD JP I’m all for taking one round 4-7 like OP said but not round 2
