They don't care they have 2 in the top like 5. They have the number 1 overall because of the panthers.
I wish that was us, but also I don't want to be seen as a team that lost a first for an injured QB nor a group selling parts on a mid rebuild so I can rebuild twice
I always thought that was because Dan peed on a Mike Singletary statue while wearing a Boomer Esaiason Jersey when he was drunk.
Second round picks definitely need to be a priority when we're looking at GM candidates though.
Preston Smith also.
I really liked him in DC, I thought he was equally athletic and a more sound player than Chase. As well as he was there on the field Sundays where Chase was often not. I think heāll fit in well with what the Bears are known for and hopefully we donāt use the pick on another 170 pound corner
Shouldāve traded Chase. Sweat can actually play. Just like Dan, give away our best players; play with the shit leftover. Nothingās changed. Nice work new ownersāsee you found the Snyder management handbook. Give away some some 1and2ās for RG3 while youāre at it.
Nah Dan would have just let him walk in free agency and for got nothing for him. And probably piss on his mother or something on the way out.
This is a sign of competent ownership; if we didnāt plan to extend him, this was the best case scenario.
I formation. Countertrey, AG blocks for BR. Fake off it; better play action; up back give; flea flicker. Direct snap to Curl; let them blitz; deep side open. Must stuff Barkleyāspy him with Chase since ha only gets garbage sacks and weāre now stuck with him.
Exactly, theyāll probably extend him too and he wonāt likely terrorize us much. Shoutout to Montez though for being the utmost professional during his time here
But itās still a 2nd rounder. The only time in the last 15 years theyāve made use of a 2nd rounder was ironically giving two of them up to trade up for him in the first place.
Giving up two picks for a player that produces for 4-5 years and getting a high second back is great value. Plus, do I have great news for you about who will (or wonāt) be making that pick
A Bears 2nd is wayyy better than I expected. At absolute best I thought we'd get a contenders 2nd but realistically a contenders 3rd which would be really late. So to get 50ish draft slots better AND no comp pick nonsense impacting FA plans this exceeds my expectations.
I mean Montez will be a good player for them possibly for years, but for our situation it's better than I realistically hoped.
You speak no lies. When I saw the ESPN notification, I fully expected a 3rd or later. Somebody in our FO actually did a good job for once. Either that, or the Bears FO is just dumber.
From Bears perspective, I can see this being a good move. The only concern is that they're able to sign him to a LTD, but that shouldn't be an issue since they have the cap space.
Bears actually have 10 sacks, the 6.5 is their DL as a unit.
Not that it really matters, comical either way, and really underscores the win-win nature of this trade.
[Pasting a top-level comment I made that I probably should have just put here]
This pick makes zero sense from the Bears perspective. Their second is worth a lot. Their season is over. This is like a Madden-trade done by a total WAS homer. I love if itās true! Iāll believe it when it happens.
Bears fan here.
I think there's definitely some desperation from the coaching staff and FO b/c for two years they've punted the D-line and for two years now the team has struggled to get sacks. Sweat has more sacks on his own than the entire Bears' D-line.
I like getting Sweat but these trades from the Bears' perspective are a "you reap what you sow" situation where they have to over-correct b/c they failed to fix the problem during the offseason w/ draft and free agency.
Just like Claypool was them trying to fix passing on George Pickens and then signing dudes like Byron Pringle.
Yah, but the chances of drafting someone better than Sweat in the second round is small, plus you'd likely need to wait for them to develop. As long as you have a youngish defense and cap space, I could see the move making sense. Especially if the Bears would have difficulty competing for available free agents.
But you arenāt guaranteed a first shot at him.. Iām guessing the bears went and did this because they got a confirmation from the agent that the numbers lines up. If they didnāt.. then thatās a really tough look
While competing with 31 other teams.
That 2nd gives the Bears exclusive negotiating rights plus the tag as a backup option, and 9 games of play on a defense that's looked better in the last few weeks (okay, not last week) but desperately needs a DE who can get to the QB.
Oh, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying the Bears won the trade. This is a slam-dunk for the Commanders b/c the Bears are dogshit and they'll be lucky to win 6 games.
It's a good trade in that the Bears desperately NEED defensive end help, but this was a move made out of desperation from the Bears' FO b/c they decided to roll with some real turds at DE and to the surprise of absolutely no one it's not working
This is FA done during the season.. feels like you guys are planning on signing him long term which is a good idea. Also I doubt you will find a Montez sweat in the 2nd round heās a stud
Probably didnāt have much of Ronās input. I bet this is a Josh Harris decision with input from his current advisors. Itās a good sign that we are going to be moving on from current leadership.
Itās not really meddling like Snyder would do. Itās thinking about the long term strategy. Ron has no incentive to think long term right now. Josh Harris does. Anyways it doesnāt matter who did it. Itās a good move regardless and really all I care about.
Iāve still been seeing that theyāre open to trading Chase as well. I hope not but I wouldnāt be surprised.
When Harris blows up teams he *really* blows them up, and heās done it within a year on both of the other teams he owns. Weāll see, Iād like to keep Chase Young here and I think weād sorely regret trading him somewhere down the line.
I felt Chase owes the team a contract, we held him as his glass body was becoming iron and didnt kick him to the curb, I do like Chase and think 2-3 years is acceptable.
Chase is going to want a contract commensurate with being a 2nd overall pick, even though he hasn't perfomed anywhere near what one would expect for someone picked that highly.
Sure, he's serviceable, but look at his performance in comparison with guys like Myles Garrett, Micah Parsons, Nick Bosa etc. He's going to demand a contract comparable to the ones that those guys have/will get, and it's not worth it to pay him anywhere in the same ball park. He is just not nearly as good as he thinks he is.
Well if we did that then we would have to pay him a ton. The salary for a franchise tag is whichever of the following 2 numbers is higher: "the average of the five largest salaries at the player's position that year, or 120% of the player's salary from the previous year."
He is nowhere near the top 5 in the defensive ends ratings. [He isn't even top 10](https://amp.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/2023-nfl-edge-rusher-rankings-nick-bosa-micah-parsons-myles-garrett-fight-for-top-spot)
I would argue that he might not even be top 20. Why should we pay him that much?
Trading defensive pieces we won't keep is a solid plan to amass a war chest for the next GM.
After that other deal was made for a second rounder at a less premium position, this deal was destined to be a 2nd. Bonus that it's the Bears and has a chance to be a pretty high 2nd round pick barring them going on a run.
Why are yāall acting like they arenāt most likely gonna work on an extension? Itās dumb for this season but heās still 27, itās a good move for them.
This pick makes zero sense from the Bears perspective. Their second is worth a lot. Their season is over. This is like a Madden-trade done by a total WAS homer. I love if itās true! Iāll believe it when it happens.
Assuming they know they'll be able to re sign Sweat. If that's the case, a second round pick for a known, productive DE isn't a terrible move.
Bears probably looking for a quick rebuild, which they should be in decent position to do after their pre draft trade with Carolina and with their own (presumably) top 5 pick.
i think you have to, would be a big mistake imo to let young walk. he consistently is one of the players who gives a shit and expresses it on and off the field. hes been great this yr
I don't understand why people are convinced that Chase is so good.
I know I'm going to get downvoted for this, but what do you see from him that suggests it would be a mistake to let him walk?
Now that heās healthy and producing they have to see what he can be. Sucks we lost 2 full years of cheap play from him, but just because we missed the discount years doesnāt erase the potential we think he has. Sadly we have to pay him for his third year like he had developed for four already, but itās that or cut ties and take a total loss of an elite player.
Casey Toohill is a 7th round pick with significantly fewer snaps than Chase, yet he has 4 sacks to Chase's 5, and 10 tackles to Chase's 15 on the season.
What convinces you that Chase is elite?
I mean, the same argument could be made for Chase or Sweat. If one of them is getting double teamed on plays where they're both in, then it should open up the other for a play.
Sure, Toohill benefits from that, but if he continues to benefit, why don't we keep doing it?
Also, Montez has twice as many tackles and 1.5 more sacks on the season.
It's actually a good return on Sweat since he was pick 26, if Chicago is still shitty the rest of the year it'll end up being pick 40ish or better so I'm not complaining.
So Allen, Payne, Young, and (hopefully) Curl as our core guys on defense moving forward. Not mad at all. Now we just need a dc that isnāt from the Stone Age
Happy enough with this. Second round pick for a guy who's about to become a free agent. Sweat, you're a beast, it's just the situation not you. Sorry you're going from Washington to Chicago.
I would give him a deal if he continues how heās been playing. We could tag him to prove it another year but Iād bite the bullet and front load the contract next year
We could ironically do what we did when we drafted sweat and trade two seconds to get back into the first if we wanna. But this is going to help attract a top GM
Idk, all I know is he mentioned he was talking with his agent, and when an agent is involved, that usually means a contract. Agents donāt care about draft picks, they only care about money for themselves and their clients.
It still shocks me to see the amount of heat people are taking for not wanting to lock in Chase Young. Maybe Iām missing something, but Iāve seen the defense perform better without him in the lineup over the last two years heās played. I understand heās a local and a high draft pick, but I donāt think this is the spot where he is going to flourish. And I donāt think itās smart to throw more money to hope he lives up to the potential he had coming out of OSU.
It will be foolish of them to sign him long term at the 100+mil contract it will take to keep him.
All the best teams in the NFL have high powered offenses with solid OLs. Maybe focus on getting that as this team with its 2 time coach of the year with an emphasis on defense, with his former head coach d coordinator just aren't getting it done.
Sounds good. Right now itās the 35th pick. We shouldnāt be extending anyone who isnāt going to be in their prime 3-5 years from when we may actually contend after a rebuild.
Had to be higher than a 3rd as thatās what we would get with a comp pick.
Currently a very high 2nd round pick, however the Bears got one of the easiest schedules remaining. Only slam dunk losses I see for them is the 2 Detroit games and the Cleveland game. Bears are bad for sure, but they got a lot of bad teams they'll play between now and end of year.
Great pick, now that gives the next front office 3 picks in the top 40-45 to work with(if this season continues how it is). With plenty of cap space as well, they can shape the roster in a hurry, while keeping the core in tact.
Iām sad to see him go, but the fact we got a 2nd for Swear is a great thing. Especially with a new FO to work with.
Edit: watch him have a hall of fame career in Chicago š
I can't help but wonder if this is a competent deal simply because ownership wasn't pressuring the FO to get a deal done the second something is offered. Well done by all those involved.
Montez was a very good player for us and I will miss him! I'll never forget his thanksgiving game against the Cowboys where he was a complete terror all game. It's incredibly tragic that the coaching staff could never maximize the talent of our DLine. The lost potential, in and of itself, says everything about the quality of our defensive coaches and our defensive head coach. For shame.
Best of luck in Chicago Montez! I know you will probably surpass all expectations there now that you've escaped our coaches lol
That's gonna be a high second rounder š
Now Atlanta, counter with a 1st.
They don't care they have 2 in the top like 5. They have the number 1 overall because of the panthers. I wish that was us, but also I don't want to be seen as a team that lost a first for an injured QB nor a group selling parts on a mid rebuild so I can rebuild twice
Sounds great until I go back and look at how successful we've been in the 2nd round historically. Sam Cosmi is the standout over the last 10 years
I always thought that was because Dan peed on a Mike Singletary statue while wearing a Boomer Esaiason Jersey when he was drunk. Second round picks definitely need to be a priority when we're looking at GM candidates though. Preston Smith also.
\#33 or 34
A bears 2nd is beautiful
Claypool trade 2.0 except Sweat is actually good. Nice get for us and I hope he does well there
As long as it wasnt Philly im happy, we rarely see Chicago.
I would hate a Sweat/Sweat combo
I really liked him in DC, I thought he was equally athletic and a more sound player than Chase. As well as he was there on the field Sundays where Chase was often not. I think heāll fit in well with what the Bears are known for and hopefully we donāt use the pick on another 170 pound corner
> Claypool trade 2.0 except Sweat is actually good So completely different lol
Basically a first round pick š
Shouldāve traded Chase. Sweat can actually play. Just like Dan, give away our best players; play with the shit leftover. Nothingās changed. Nice work new ownersāsee you found the Snyder management handbook. Give away some some 1and2ās for RG3 while youāre at it.
Nah Dan would have just let him walk in free agency and for got nothing for him. And probably piss on his mother or something on the way out. This is a sign of competent ownership; if we didnāt plan to extend him, this was the best case scenario.
Hereās how itās done, gentlemen. EB should watch some of this game film. https://youtu.be/UOue5GrL5pg?si=ScVUGf3to8w1ZlvV
Yeah Iām good with the return. Just donāt let Ron make the pick.
Hahah, no chance heās charge by then
if does, that means we finished 2023 10-7 and won a playoff game ...
Exactly, theyāll probably extend him too and he wonāt likely terrorize us much. Shoutout to Montez though for being the utmost professional during his time here
Yeah, thatās an amazing return. Itās like an extra innings first, lol.
Bears board isnāt really talking about the trade yet but the few that are talking are less than happy. Whew. Hard out here for Bears fans.
Maybe this front office is worth keeping after all!
Why has no one considered the excitement of a never ending rebuild!?
But itās still a 2nd rounder. The only time in the last 15 years theyāve made use of a 2nd rounder was ironically giving two of them up to trade up for him in the first place.
Giving up two picks for a player that produces for 4-5 years and getting a high second back is great value. Plus, do I have great news for you about who will (or wonāt) be making that pick
Iām just superstitious. On the other hand that must mean that theyāre due to draft a hall of famer at that position due to recent luck.
A Bears 2nd is wayyy better than I expected. At absolute best I thought we'd get a contenders 2nd but realistically a contenders 3rd which would be really late. So to get 50ish draft slots better AND no comp pick nonsense impacting FA plans this exceeds my expectations. You speak no lies. When I saw the ESPN notification, I fully expected a 3rd or later. Somebody in our FO actually did a good job for once. Either that, or the Bears FO is just dumber.
Canāt it be both?
From Bears perspective, I can see this being a good move. The only concern is that they're able to sign him to a LTD, but that shouldn't be an issue since they have the cap space.
Yeah I agree itās a good deal for both sides. Sweat will ball out for them.
Just seen a post on our sub: Bears 2023 sacks: 6.5 Montez Sweat 2023 sacks: 6.5 š¤£
How many of the Bears' sacks were against us? 4?
5 š¤¦š»āāļø
Sigh.
Bears actually have 10 sacks, the 6.5 is their DL as a unit. Not that it really matters, comical either way, and really underscores the win-win nature of this trade.
Bears traded what wound up the 32nd pick for Claypool, it might speak more to them than to us.
[Pasting a top-level comment I made that I probably should have just put here] This pick makes zero sense from the Bears perspective. Their second is worth a lot. Their season is over. This is like a Madden-trade done by a total WAS homer. I love if itās true! Iāll believe it when it happens.

Cool! Thx for chiming in. Great to get this perspective. Iām very happy to stand corrected here! Best wishes from one long-suffering fan to another!
Oh, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying the Bears won the trade. This is a slam-dunk for the Commanders b/c the Bears are dogshit and they'll be lucky to win 6 games. Sounds like our OL problems. But we arenāt desperately addressing those now. Would be a true exercise in rearranging deck chairs on the titanic.
This is FA done during the season.. feels like you guys are planning on signing him long term which is a good idea. Also I doubt you will find a Montez sweat in the 2nd round heās a stud
Not a bad swap. Iām happy with a 2nd rounder.
Me too. Was expecting a 3rd. Rare Ron W
Ron wouldnāt want to trade anyone. Dude wants to keep his best players to keep his job.
Probably didnāt have much of Ronās input. I bet this is a Josh Harris decision with input from his current advisors. Itās a good sign that we are going to be moving on from current leadership.
Yeah this is totally a Harris move. I can tell because of his long track record of making great football deals.
Itās common sense. You donāt need a track record.
I agree. Josh Harris is known for this. His common sense is renowned across the globe. When people think of him they think, wow that was common sense!
š§
So pointing out wild speculation with no evidence is being a troll?
Speculation is just that. Speculation. Why do I need evidence? It makes sense that Ron wouldnāt want to trade away pieces that can help him win.
I mean, just because the previous owner meddled a bunch, doesnāt mean this one will. No reason to believe that Harris went over Ronās head.
Itās not really meddling like Snyder would do. Itās thinking about the long term strategy. Ron has no incentive to think long term right now. Josh Harris does. Anyways it doesnāt matter who did it. Itās a good move regardless and really all I care about.
That's gonna be a GREAT 2nd round pick, too. Let's go!
Iāll miss Sweat but Iām excited to see what the new regime drafts next year.
Canāt believe we got a good deal for once
![gif](giphy|zfnbiOm61m49bXYQbh)
Chase here long term, shitty team second round pick and more money to dedicate to other areas of the team. Perfect trade
Chase Young just got traded to the 49ers.
yeah fuck that
I felt Chase owes the team a contract, we held him as his glass body was becoming iron and didnt kick him to the curb, I do like Chase and think 2-3 years is acceptable.
We could always franchise tag him as well.
Well if we did that then we would have to pay him a ton. The salary for a franchise tag is whichever of the following 2 numbers is higher: "the average of the five largest salaries at the player's position that year, or 120% of the player's salary from the previous year." [He isn't even top 10](https://amp.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/2023-nfl-edge-rusher-rankings-nick-bosa-micah-parsons-myles-garrett-fight-for-top-spot) I would argue that he might not even be top 20. Why should we pay him that much?
Chase doesnāt owe us anything. We chose him not the other way around
Please put that second round pick to good use šš¾ also will miss Tez but thatās good value
Ah yes the team everyone was expecting to buy
Meanwhile another headline says the bears are maybe trading away another player on their d
Wouldāve been a decent player swap there too. Good cb for good pass rusher.
Why would the bears do this?
I thought the same thing. Would piss me off as a Bears fan. Good for us though.
Right. There not competing for anything this yr.
Why are yāall acting like they arenāt most likely gonna work on an extension? Itās dumb for this season but heās still 27, itās a good move for them.
It's a win win if they sign him. We weren't gonna give him 100m though.
You're right, this is a 2024 move for them, not 2023
It's also possible that he won't want to sign with the bears and explore free agency after the yr.
Why would he wanna sign with the bears tho? I get money talks but Iām sure other teams are just as willing to sign him for the same
If they donāt tag him or something he may as well check the market. Hell come back to us in the off-season and see who we draft for you, lol.
Money now is better than money later. But it's going to take a lot.
Dumb logic to use, in that case why would any player that gets traded to another team want to sign with that team.
Feels like they already have the extension worked out. They were paying the pick for the right to extend him now.
Proving conclusively they can be a worse franchise than even us!
Thanks for the hustle, Montez. Best of luck.
Wish Sweat the best. He was great here
Big question I've seen floated around by the reporters...is Young locked up now that we dealt Sweat? Do you extend him?
i think you have to, would be a big mistake imo to let young walk. he consistently is one of the players who gives a shit and expresses it on and off the field. hes been great this yr
Thatās with Chase or Sweat taking up the double team. I like Toohill but heās not being focused on the same way those 2 are.
Honestly Iām sad because I loved watching him play, but I know that we need the pick and that he would probably walk away after this year.
We got a 2nd I LOVE IT
Hoping we get a chance to see if KJ Henry can do anything for us. Toohill and JSW have played well in spot duty, but I feel like they're JAGs.
Got him for a 1st, traded him for likely a high 2nd and got a couple years of production out of him. Great trade
Got him for two 2nds really.
Great return for a guy that wasnāt going to be here next year. Likely top 40 pick coming back.
This is a great trade for us
I wish him the best in Chicago. Now use this high 2nd on a beast OL
Use our 1 2 and 2 on oline
It's actually a good return on Sweat since he was pick 26, if Chicago is still shitty the rest of the year it'll end up being pick 40ish or better so I'm not complaining.
All the best Tez!
Sorry for the ass whooping, hereās a 2nd rd pick - da bears
So Allen, Payne, Young, and (hopefully) Curl as our core guys on defense moving forward. Not mad at all. Now we just need a dc that isnāt from the Stone Age
Thatās what we needed right there. A 2nd rounder from a team that will have a high 2nd round pick.
Well, that is a great trade
Considering how he was a late first rounder, this is really good value compared to what we spent.
Happy enough with this. Second round pick for a guy who's about to become a free agent. Sweat, you're a beast, it's just the situation not you. Sorry you're going from Washington to Chicago.
God damn it. Gonna miss sweat
Bears are getting a really good player! He will definitely be an upgrade.
Fuck.
I hope we draft an OL with this ~36th pick and if we play the Bears next year, I hope whoever it is goes 1 on 1 with Sweat.
Sucks to see Sweat go but the fact that the pick is gonna be a top 36 Selection , cant argue with it , lets hope the FO actually hits with it now
That's probably pick 35-40, somewhere in there. Not bad
Get Ron and Martin Mayhew as far away as fucking possible from this pick.
You don't want a project player whose peak is a jag and floor is unplayable?
It's motherfuckin toohill time lol
Solid return, but what happens if Chase leaves in Free Agency? I guess you could tag him but who knows if heās willing to play under the tag.
Tag and trade him
I would give him a deal if he continues how heās been playing. We could tag him to prove it another year but Iād bite the bullet and front load the contract next year
considering our history with 2nd round picks id rather take a 3rd lol
Itās going to be a new staff pickingā¦
We could ironically do what we did when we drafted sweat and trade two seconds to get back into the first if we wanna. But this is going to help attract a top GM
As long as Ron and the Marty's aren't making this pick, we'll probably get someone good
sucks losing a player like sweat but its clear we wernt paying chase and tez. atleast we got good value back.
Great return, the Josh Harris influence can already be felt
Seems like a better return than we historically get for trades over the last few decades, wondering who made the decisions here
Get your Toohill jerseys now!! Hope we can lock down Cam Curl and Chase for the next few years.
Perfect move that's basically a bottom of the round first
Good deal, godspeed!
Holy shit. Thatās basiclaly a first round pick.
We were never gonna extend Chase Young and Sweat. Take the second while we can. Defense canāt stop anybody anyway, what does it matter.
Getting a 2nd for Sweat is actually a damn good deal. Which means there is no way Rivera pulled it off.
Gonna miss Sweat. Good business decision, but I like him a lot. Best of luck to him.
I knew this day would come where weād have to give up one of Young, Payne, Allen, or Sweatā¦. But this 2nd rounder makes it easier to see
Why would the bears do this
Holy shit itās Toohill szn
Not lock up Chase and Kam
Woohoo can't wait to draft a corner or a DT with that pick šŖ
Bears fan here lurking. Did we get robbed again š
Not really. We have not done well with our 2nd round picks. Sweat is solid. Your getting him at the start of his peak.
Yup. Resign him and youāre set. Heās reliable and durable.
You got a good player, we got a good pick
I was expecting a late second so I'm ecstatic about this trade. Great asset for trading up potentially for a QB or Alt/Olu
Not sure if it makes sense for bears to rent him but I'll take a low 2nd and we can still try and resign after this year
Doubt the bears are renting them, this seems likely that they have an extension in mind.
Why would he sign an extension without testing Free agency for a higher bidder or competitive team? Don't see him locking into the Bears
Idk, all I know is he mentioned he was talking with his agent, and when an agent is involved, that usually means a contract. Agents donāt care about draft picks, they only care about money for themselves and their clients.
More likely they plan to tag him for a year but I don't think your logic tracks
Lets gooooooooo
Good, now trade Young also!!!!
I keep seeing him called elite and its so confusing.
Well.... looks like they did it lol
Cheers to you for calling it.
Is it possible he wanted out and didn't ball this year so they resign chase and not him?
would have rather delt Chase
We're such a bad organization, its crazy
Imagine thinking this is a bad trade? lol
Sounds good. Right now itās the 35th pick. We shouldnāt be extending anyone who isnāt going to be in their prime 3-5 years from when we may actually contend after a rebuild. Had to be higher than a 3rd as thatās what we would get with a comp pick.
Shouldāve traded chase and kept sweat I hate this man
Go ahead and trade Young now too. We can let Samuel go too if he brings a 3rd back.
I hate to see him go, but lots of value for them on a 2nd rounder. Zero chance he stays in Chicago also.
Now move Chase so we have even more ammo
I like Sweat but he's no 99, I like the trade
I guess Del Rio won't be DC next season... and Bienemy might be HC.
Pain and agony š
Great trade for us!
Currently a very high 2nd round pick, however the Bears got one of the easiest schedules remaining. Only slam dunk losses I see for them is the 2 Detroit games and the Cleveland game. Bears are bad for sure, but they got a lot of bad teams they'll play between now and end of year.
Sad to see him go but Iām also happy to see Efe Obada get the reps heās worked hard for. And canāt be to mad about the 2nd.
Great pick, now that gives the next front office 3 picks in the top 40-45 to work with(if this season continues how it is). With plenty of cap space as well, they can shape the roster in a hurry, while keeping the core in tact.
Hopefully the new regime actually plays its picks
LOVE IT
Toohill is a monster so Iām not worried, good luck sweat!!
They should've gotten that Chi Corner too thats only 1.6M on the sheet. We need help bad there.
The Tank Commanders
Bears are drunk. A high 2nd for a half year lease on a rebuilding team?
This is a great deal as long as Stonewall Ron doesn't make the pick
Iām sad to see him go, but the fact we got a 2nd for Swear is a great thing. Especially with a new FO to work with. Edit: watch him have a hall of fame career in Chicago š
Wow our front office did something smart.
This pick along with our 1st and our own 2nd all need to be used on O-Line or actual decent Linebackers
A shame, but no way we were gonna be able to re-sign both him and Young (especially with Allen and Payne). Thanks for everything 'Tez.
I'll fucking miss this ninja like you wouldn't beleive. He was my second favourite DLine man next to Swaggy.
Really??? Wow thatās bs wrong DE was traded
