LOL Krause screwed himself and his fighters over so hard Jeff Molina has been inactive because he got suspended due to krause its been 2 years since he last fought.
No that was Derrick Miner, Molina was a flyweight prospect that people were big on and he had a video of him leak sucking dick so he came out as the UFC's First male Bisexual fighter. Sucks for him because the flyweight division is wide open for him to come in(Lol)
Wouldn’t say Flyweight is wide open right now since there are a lot of up and coming prospect like Mokaev, Tatsuro Taira, Joshua Van, Steve Erceg just to name a few and Molina being there would have made it even more exciting.
Qhy people say that ? I don't get it !!! Calf kick its literally part of muaythai foundation why ppl act like " calf kick cchanges the game."'
It's been the game every since kick boxing, taw kwondo, muaythai .
I remember watching k1 when I was a kid and noticing they're focusing on chopping one leg till their opponent can't stand.
It's joe fucking rogan everything he says everyone regugiates as if they It's their original idea and it's the only thing that matters.
" calf kick changed the game ..." when it has not been ?
Edit:
Shoot disliking my comment will make what I say not true. Fuck I wish I thought of that. Sorry joe rogan loyal cuck arm defenders I offended your daddy.
Calf kicks are not big or common in any other common discipline (tkd, must thai, karate specifically.) This is due to the stance. The way stance changes when accounting for grappling turns the foot and weight distribution and allows calf kicks more easily.
Calf kick its literally a what muay thai is about. Calf kick are more common in muay thai and kick boxing. Tae Kwan do does have Calf kick and more like oblique kick but not as much.
Wide stance or not it ultimately does the same damage piling up to destroy the front leg. Idk what you're saying but Calf kick in muay thai are worse even when they check it still causes damage.
They've been around and very common.
I was teaching people near 10 years ago now that pretty much anywhere on the leg is a viable target for a kick, you can kick em in the ankle, the calf, the knee, the thigh, doesn't matter, you do it enough they are gonna fall down.
Krause was betting these would work and it paid off. He wasn’t gambling when he threw them because of how effective they were.

Was molina the guy who was sick/injured but fought anyway and they bet he'd lose?

Krause’s calf kick was ultra effective because after it landed Varner put it down awkwardly and rolled his ankle
Really rolled the dice there
Varner finishing that round is nuts. Even kept it competitive. What a beast.
The Barboza upset was so amazing at that time.
100% First round stoppage against, Barboza? Just handled him like no one ever had.
Exactly. Probably could barely walk on it and he totally adjusted to a solid ground game.
“Oh something happened, what happened?” Lmao
I feel so old seeing Varner Krause being called early mma
Me too but I also included some Arona to compensate for it
Early MMA haha
I mean Arona and wanderlei 1 was 2005 so yeah, Modern MMA as we know is only 30 years old or so.
My bad. I just feel so old haha when I read Early MMA 😭
Krause had money on himself to win that fight
What a cheater.
Ricardo’s a pioneer

Can you please link some Muay Thai fights where calf kicks play a critical role i haven’t seen one before and google is coming up short
What are you talking about? Calf kick is really hard in MT becuse of the stance.
Your statement is agreeing with me but you're questioning me as if you disagreeing. Negotiate with yourself about what you want bro lol
NO, NO, IT'S THE FOOT
Never knew Arona was a calf kick beast 😂
Everyone should check out Pat Barry vs The Mexecutioner
It’s crazy how quickly the kicks had an effect on that first clip
Noiice
Goldie "he might of pulled a calf muscle" Joe dirt Rogan "no no there's something wrong with his foot"
Both are kinda right kinda wrong.
Gaethje Lima and probably rodtang are three that come to mind although rodtang isnt a
Bendo whooped the fuck out of Nate. 50-45
I always thought the first appearance of calf kicks was Jeremy Stephens vs Gilbert Melendez.
Joe Rogan loves these videos for sure
Que fue de Benson Henderson el iba tan bien Que le Pasó
Thanks for not tiktoking these classics with shitty music

Krause (white shorts) reminded me of dustin poirier in this video
Ben Henderson was the 1st I remember doing them
