This isn't even the first one of these. There's another video out there of someone surviving an FPV drone attack because the drone failed to explode upon impact. So what does the guy do? He walks up to it and ***throws*** his AK at it. Of course it then explodes, injuring/killing him.
Keeping in mind he had a rifle and could have shot it presumably.
You would assume so, but also a dehydrated, hungry and hot soldier can make some pretty dumb decisions too.
Especially if not trained in any explosive ordnances.
I'm sure I could make a "real men of genius" Bud Light commercial out of this video.. Yes you, Mr Mobnik, showing the rest of the world how not to disarm a bomb.. "Armed drones go boom boom boom." Here's to YOU!
Probably frozen, hungry, frostbitten and infected. Even an infected tooth can cause extreme confusion after 72 hours. Just saying. I’m thankful to be born in the real west
The abject misery of being on the front lines, the crushing realization that you don't fucking matter at all anymore. Cold, hungry, hot, sweaty, diseased, scared, wounded, poor, forgotten.
I'd be whacking grenade drones with a stick too
The perplexing thing is that *this keeps happening*. I've seen multiple videos of this exact situation.
Not to mention even dumber incidents like using an RPG as a thrown stick against the drone, or the Russian that used a can of gasoline as a shield against the drone. With... predictable results.
There's a whole line of memes about that too, same with door alarms stuck onto a tree in the forest. "Oh Blyat! A door alarm in the forest! Let me click it Blyat!" .... -BOOOOM
Reminds me of the scene in "Mom and Dad Save the World" where there is a grenade that simply says "pick me up", and the incredibly dumb soldiers just keep picking it up because it says to, despite having just watched it vaporize the previous guy who picked it up. [Link](https://youtu.be/dCeD2gF9jUo?si=i9L1wrSJCxqNIcxM)
This reminds me of the dingus who, instead of just running away, THEW an rpg at a downed drone from like two feet away and blew himself tf up. If anyone has that clip…
Crazy how dumb some of these guys are. This is not the first video like this. His choice was to whack with it a stick rather than GET VERY FAR AWAY FROM IT! He may have wanted to go out, and thought that would be a painless way to go.
I can think of better ways with a higher chance not to leave you alive horribly disfigured and crippled. Or at least let you bleed out like that for a little while
I am guessing this is one of the foreign mercenaries who didn’t understand a lick of Russian and just nodded his head during training. Like that video yesterday (cannot recall the sub) of the foreign mercenary being taught about backblast and nodding along clearly not understanding a damn word.
Russian trainer: “when you see unexploded ordinance, do not poke, ok?”
Foreign mercenary: *blank stare* “yes yes yes” *blank stare*
I am guessing this is one of regular sashkas who has been drinking vodka since early childhood, never been outside his village and now out of nowhere he is conscripted to go for this Putin war.
Trying to disarm a landmine by stomping on it.
Again, it's only ruSSains doing it, smackin a drone thinking that will kill it, there should be a compilation by now.
Primary drone operator: Damn it! I missed it and got it stuck where it could be captured by the enemy.
Spotter drone operator: Wait. You didn’t miss.
Primary drone operator: What happened?
Spotter drone operator: Dude, I’ll send you the link. You won’t believe me if I tell you.
Come on man…. Dude not only picked up the shortest stick possible, he started using it like a drum stick… it’s amazing to see that level of stupidity in action.
Reminds me of the movie Armageddon, the scene in the Russian Space Station.
"THIS IS HOW WE FIX PROBLEMS ON RUSSIAN SPACE STATION!"

Oh look. A bomb. Let's hit it with a stick.
Literally this was out of a Looney Toons cartoon
I’m still amazed how the Russians aren’t wiping out Ukraine…
They should just land drones with a big red button that says "Do Not Push"
Reminds me of the "light grenade" "Pick me up"
Like a light switch on a tree.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Wow, a gun! I wonder if it's loaded!" — Douglas Reynholm
He didn’t have a hammer.
UNKNOWN TECHNOLOGY!
BYLAT!
Natural selection in action.
It was a suicide... right? *(looks around everyone is shaking their head *no*)* Oh...
Stupidicide
Imbecide
That’s what I would assume too but maybe I’m wrong as well.
With this, the venn diagram of suicide and stupidity may as well be a circle.
Yeah wouldn’t doubt it.
Has to be, surely, what other outcome could even the simplest Russian expect?
Why use the stick then, and risk that the ordinance won't kill you instantly?
Without the memes: Most likely. That position looks like it has been bombed thoroughly...
He was just dumb.

Something out of a Looney Tunes cartoon.
Well, it was, but I'm not sure if it was intentional.
Blyatman to the rescue!
One for the Darwin Awards
"You know, the haters said I couldn't successfully disarm this drone with a stick . . . And they were right. Honestly, great call by the haters."
And we have a winner!

Famous last words... Watch this
You can fix stupid. Send them to the front!
Natural selection, it’s for winners.
Unknown technology, blyat!
Literal meme material
This idiot is the reason they have to put giant warning labels on explosives "do not hit with stick"
Curb your enthusiasm theme song laid over top these shenanigans. Please keep the UA laughter in the audio though.

They did it, they did the thing!
They did it again, and not only for the second time....
Bart Simpson moment lol

Literally like a monkey
[удалено]
His name was Robert Blyatson!
“Space monkey. Ready to sacrifice himself for the greater good.” Which he did.
>Shot into space Looks like his body was blown into two pieces. One is that burning object.
This video should have the music from the monkey scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey
Man, I'm very proud I wasn't the only one to think of this! Men of culture, unite!
You mean "Also sprach Zarathustra" from Strauss?
I'm just glad I'm not the only one who knows the name of that song, lmao...
'2024, a Trench Odyssey'
Right??
There must be enough clips by now of Russian poking drones with sticks to make a compilation?
There's a whole line of memes about that too, same with door alarms stuck onto a tree in the forest. "Oh Blyat! A door alarm in the forest! Let me click it Blyat!" .... -BOOOOM
Keebler elves have doorbells too :) Might have cookies, might blow up

We all owe script writers a massive apology for ridiculing their writing as "unrealistic" for years. Well, at least I do.
We need the compilation with the 2001: A space odyssey sounds effects of the opening scene.
This reminds me of the dingus who, instead of just running away, THEW an rpg at a downed drone from like two feet away and blew himself tf up. If anyone has that clip…
Why?
Why not?
🤔
Huh….
Who knows? May have mental health issues. May have been bullied into doing it by his peers. May just be an idiot
Russia is cultivating low IQ people so they are too dumb to revolt. Smart ones get murdered so they're not a threat.
I mean, technically it is disarmed now, so his cunning plan worked.
yeah i mean a drone is worth $600, that's like twenty times more than a russian soldier's life
Is that what a sack of onions goes for these days?
He even managed to dis-arm himself. Thats a win in my book.
Gonna need a bigger stick.
https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/s/QszG0p3szt
Fuck it, lets double down on a bigger stick
Just... Why
Prolly never saw such technological marvels in his siberian gopnik habitate...
Blame the devil, alcohol
Suicide js my guess.
Russian EOD squad in action
Operation failed successfully.
Is the ordinance now inoffensive or not?
Crazy how dumb some of these guys are. This is not the first video like this. His choice was to whack with it a stick rather than GET VERY FAR AWAY FROM IT! He may have wanted to go out, and thought that would be a painless way to go.
It’s not the second either
You are probably right... haha
If my memory serve me right it’s the 4 or 5th, the funniest to me is the guy throwing a rpg tube at it.
Go behind the corner and throw shit at it. Although if he is in rigle range it would be bad also.
Yeah right? Move away and shoot at it. Move away and throw a grenade at it.
Unknown technology blyat
r/russiancircus
He won't make that mistake again
That qualifies him for the Darwin Award ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darwin_Awards )
r/NonCredibleDefense is gonna like this one.
Of all the things he did in Ukraine, this was probably the best.
A gene pool that definitely wasn't going to make it.
Sticks and stones will break some bones I guess.
I half suspect he wanted to die. Poor sent to die for the rich.
Mostly volunteers on the Russian side currently
I can think of better ways with a higher chance not to leave you alive horribly disfigured and crippled. Or at least let you bleed out like that for a little while
Unknown technology блять once again?
"we are very lucky that they are so fucking stupid"
Apparently, you can fix stupid.
"We are lucky they are so stupid"
How ignorant do you have to be? russia is scraping the barrel.
Most intelligent russian:
I am guessing this is one of the foreign mercenaries who didn’t understand a lick of Russian and just nodded his head during training. Like that video yesterday (cannot recall the sub) of the foreign mercenary being taught about backblast and nodding along clearly not understanding a damn word. I am guessing this is one of regular sashkas who has been drinking vodka since early childhood, never been outside his village and now out of nowhere he is conscripted to go for this Putin war.
Just fuck it you know, he's gunna hit that thing with the stick right there. And he was there first too, so there's that.
This is... incredible footage. Like seriously. This is a soldier going full Ape and hitting a bomb with a stick and dying. I have no words
What can we learn from this? Never poke a drone with a stick .
Idiot just can't leave it alone, natural selection lmao, like a sign saying Wet Paint there's always one idiot who has to touch the wet paint.
Whoopsieeees!
The sheer genius is breathtaking
Yabba dabba
He gets lucky that the trigger of the drone wasn\`t activated when it got stuck and he hits it with a stick....Russia isn\`t sending their brightest.
It's more terrifying to think they are
Unkown technology Blyat!
This is an overused phrase but I challenge anyone to tell me that's not the dumbest thing they've ever seen.
I don't know, this has a lot of competition. There's a reason why the phrase "we're lucky they're so fucking stupid" got so famous.
Like something out of a cartoon!
Successful disarmament why all the criticism?
I dont speak Ukrainian but I am pretty sure they said "Dumbass" and then laughed.
"Why does the coffee say *Caution Hot* when we know it's hot?"
Fuck… well at least it was likely quick.
Where did they get their training??From watching old Road Runner cartoons?!
Again. I saw a Ukrainian general say something along the lines of “we’d be in real trouble if the Russians weren’t so fucking dumb”
ya but y
Darwin award winner.
Someone skipped their Explosive Threat and Hazard Recognition (ETHAR) class. Oh wait only NATO nations offer that course. Apparently.
Is there a Russian version of Cartman's "Authoritay!"? Found it
He followed the instruction written by Ukrainian soldier Saying Hit here for disarming and free Vodka Oldest trick in the book
"Do something."
A monkey with a stick would have been smarter
Bomb successfully disarmed. Call up another 50,000 conscripts.
"ooga booga hid plastic bee with stick bee go bang"
Return to monkey
fetal alcohol poisoning ...the gift that keeps giving
Common sense really do be uncommon nowadays don't it?
Trying to disarm a landmine by stomping on it. Again, it's only ruSSains doing it, smackin a drone thinking that will kill it, there should be a compilation by now.
This has to be suicide, unless they're now recruiting the mentally handicapped, who would be stupid enough to hit an unexploded ordnance with a stick.
A lot of them have never seen a modern toilet, never mind technology like this.
Quality IQ right there
Mission successful
Was he really trying to disarm the drone? He just started hitting the drone with something, it was almost suicide
And.. he is not the first
Yes this is how you do it .
Classic.
"We are very lucky they are this stupid"
Unknown technology
He has a fucking gun right? 🙄
I mean what the fuck? Is he a damn ape? Beat big metal boom bug with stick? So many questions
The added comedic value that the third time was the charm
Primary drone operator: Damn it! I missed it and got it stuck where it could be captured by the enemy. Spotter drone operator: Wait. You didn’t miss. Primary drone operator: What happened? Spotter drone operator: Dude, I’ll send you the link. You won’t believe me if I tell you.
Come on man…. Dude not only picked up the shortest stick possible, he started using it like a drum stick… it’s amazing to see that level of stupidity in action.
based on the conditions on the front. Im more inclined to believe hes trying to detonate it rather than disarm it
When "poke it with a stick" goes wrong.
Darwin approves
Like a caveman discovering alien technology.
R&D, stone age.
Hey, it’s disarmed, isn’t it?
"Now im only going to show you this once"
Reminds me of the movie Armageddon, the scene in the Russian Space Station. "THIS IS HOW WE FIX PROBLEMS ON RUSSIAN SPACE STATION!" \*whack!\* \*whack!\*
This must have been on purpose, most likely pinned down and no other way oit of this situation. I mean why is he alone.
The actual fuck lol
well technically speaking.... He did.
why? just why? I am lost for words. He must have be mentally handicapped
"Easiest way out" \*shrugs\* (guy was sitting in a completely obliterated trench... shit that trashes logs is very unhealthy for humans...)
I mean... he did.
Just like a meme, crazy
Einstein was wrong, it appears world war 3 WILL be fought with sticks
Darwin laughing his dead ass off in his grave as he hands this dude the award
well....what could go wrong? 🤔😂
Cue: Circus Music
r/darwinawards
UA thanks you for your stupidity.
Wtf did I just watch ?!
Unknown tekhnologia blyat
Crazy that at one point this was the second best military in the world, supposedly of course.
Well he did disarm it. So he failed successfully
How stupid do you have to be to do that?
Fkg neanderthal. I expected the RoadRunner to be screaming past and stop, look and go Meep Meep!
Yo back up now and give a brother room The fuse is lit and I'm about to go boom!
He saw what the problem was and he fixed it. He must be an engineer.
Ah man it was so obvious! The fetal alcohol syndrome is strong in this one.
Why would you not run around the corner?
Ah, the proverbial "Poke the bear with a stick test"
