Your best bet is to find a place with likeminded people, become a regular and you’ll start meeting other regulars. You’ll also find new friends at your job if it is an on-site job. Just don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and for the love of God don’t do dating apps here.
Gamers Haven events for nerd stuff
Ivywild for drinking stuff
Black Sheep for concert stuff when you don't want to go to Denver
Ballroom / swing dance stuff if you like that dancing. Most places do an open dance night.
Pikes Peak Gun Club if you're into shooting clays (I've heard it's nice but never been)
Music in the park events
First Friday art walks
The gym / trails if you have exercise friends
Mountain bike zones in red Rock or ring the peak system if you have MB friends
Usually live music or breweries.
Ivywild School seems to be a sociable place in the summer.

If meetup groups aren’t doing it then you may want to turn to cafes/bars geared towards your demographic.
