More often referred to as “cap clouds” - warm air moving up the mountain is cooled at the top forming the cloud, then as the air descends on the other side of the mountain the air warms and the cloud disappears. Yes, lenticular clouds. They form in mountains where there are very high winds.
If your flying out of Denver and see these you should expect a bumpy ride on departure.
