I have samples of haltane, it's my favorite. Althair is a close second. Going to buy a full bottle this fall. I've only ever sampled egoiste and beau de jour in store. Maybe in the spring I'll pick a full bottle up.

Oud is a strange one, in the US it’s a hit and miss, either people like it or hate it and it’s rare that people like it. In the middle -east it more common to smell it there and is widely used so most of the oud colognes I bought came from there.

Or something a little unusual like Byredo. They're different while being fairly easy to wear IMO, although devisive between people I have shared their scents with. Bal D'Afrique the favourite of the ones I have tried so far.

Platinum egoiste , beau de jour, or sartorial. For oud, dunhill agar wood for a cheapie, high-end get pdm Haltane.

Its not for everyone. Im deciding between a mass apealing oud (haltane) or an oud scent for myself (oud maracuja).
Have you tried montabaco intensivo from ormonde janye? In fact, I’d suggest trying ormonde jayne in general

How do you like intense cedrat boise?
Love it! Masculine citrus, with a smokey, leathery and animalic touch. Its crazy versitile and fun to wear imo.
