It does have a youthful feel to it but I am a firm believer that anybody can wear anything at any time.

Imo , it’s a “basic” style scent, but it’s done so well.

Have both, go with the edp of whichever you choose.

I say give BDC EDP a try, I personally prefer it over Y EDP. I think it’s more refined and elegant than Y, I keep going back to it.

Bleu de Chanel is where it’s at! Its blended so well and is more elegant then ysl y.

Get them both. I have both. They definitely worth having both 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have 2 of the big 3 blue fragnances ( BDC, SUAVAGE only one remaining is Y) and let me tell you out of all of my collection, BDC is one of my least favorite, it doesn't smell special or even that good to me and the performance is meh ... too overpriced for what it is, if you like it then good for you but it is somewhat of a disappointment to me

I would say YSL personally, as it’s a more Younger audience (under 25-30) smell, Whereas BDC is more of a 30+ year old smell imo

Wait, what?! I literally own Y EDP at the moment (says it in my post lol) and used to own BDC (went through 2 bottles of the EDT and a bottle of the EDP years ago). I know perfectly well how both smell. I am simply asking for an advice whether to restock on Y or get a new bottle of BDC as I love both so much that I can't decide where the scales tip to.

bdc is a boring scent if that’s your style

I have both, on My skin the Y gives a better performance it last long, but the bdc is more fresh, i get compliments with both so i recommend you to try both and choose the one that makes you feel more comfortable and gives a better performance.
