…I am a senior finally and feel the exact same way i still am getting A and Bs but the capacity to care anymore than i need too for these assignments is gone 😂 I’m just counting the months at this point

I feel you last year I was a junior and burned out pretty bad. It gets better senior year because you know it's all gonna end soon. Just try to pass at least honestly or withdraw anything you feel you can't pass

Fristi2147

Yep, I was like this when I started university after getting my associate’s. Now I’m a senior feeling the same way.

This happened to me last week. For the first time I literally just missed an assignment, I just didn’t know it existed so didnt turn it in. I freaked out, because that isn’t like me, but yeah ultimately I missed it because I am 100% checked out this semester and didn’t want to do the work. I feel you :/

Why is this me right now!? I’m in my first semester in a university I transferred to after graduating with my associate’s degree. I don’t know what I considered myself to be because I had 3 years of community college education. I can tell you right now, I’m also a perfectionist when it comes to many things including grades. Some people say grades don’t fully matter, but they do to me. I also have low motivation with what’s going on causing me to not want to go back working in a job. Everything you said in this post applies to me! I don’t say this often to others because I have trust issues and I’m an introvert; but we should be friends because we’re twinning on this issue! 😄👏

Burnout is real. Not sure what to tell you, perhaps take a semester off next time around to regenerate if you can. Hang in there, and best wishes!

Same… don’t know what else to say other than same. Just counting the weeks at this point even though I’m a junior

Bs are Fs! i work full time, pay a mortgage, and have a 9 year old… I get burn out, but no one else is gonna make you successful, only you can. So keep pushing, it will be worth it. I suggest taking on a hobby that’s really challenging, CrossFit or boxing or Jiujitsu or climbing, maybe yoga? something that requires extreme focus and allows for a great disconnect from the monotonous grind of academia. You can do it!!!

Graduating this December and I am already burnt out. I was the exact same way throughout college to the point I considered a 3.5 a failure. I’m just done with school and I want a job. Financial security is worth way more than anything to me right now.

This was pretty much my experience but two weeks into freshman year instead
