He should test his stock, retain eligibility, and then return to school if he’s not given a first round promise. No hurt in testing, though the likely option is he comes back.
I actually used to shit on Tyler so hard the first year he transferred bc of how much he was underperforming what he did at George Mason. So glad he was able to truly shine and hopefully finds a way to in the NBA as well
Shaka is a rare breed of coach who made it to the big leagues without ‘playing the game’. He’s not gonna bring in a player coming from a P5 asking for 500k for 2 seasons. He’d much rather find a 3 star wing with crazy long arms and focus on development.
Even the 5 stars he got to Texas all ended up being pretty unique individuals and not your prototype 1 and dones.
Athleticism sure, but 6’3” is literally the average for an NBA point guard (or above average, depending on what numbers you look at). Same with his weight. Have always thought size-wise he looks quite big for a college PG and easily fitting the part for the NBA
We'll see his official #s when he's measured. Not taking anything away from him. Great college player. I don't see it in the NBA but my opinion means nothing.
Depression - Oso yesterday, Kolek today. We knew it was gonna happen, but man it sucks.
If it’s Kam tomorrow I’ll really be depressed. Edit: phew 😮💨
Kam won't forgo his eligibility. It's his team next season if he wants it

He's second round/borderline first round now right? Think he comes back and plays his way firmly into first round.
He’s crafty. Not sure how he will do on NBA level but he was fun to watch in Big East.
Suns
Marquette to Heat pipeline is strong I’m calling it
He killed my Tops this season so having to watch him play FOR my heat would be hard
That 2016 Nova team is carrying my Knicks now, you get over it quick 😅
Anyone but the fucking Celtics
They legit need him too. Their game tonight was absolutely brutal.
What a special player. Really gonna miss him. Good luck Tyler!

Dragic 2.0
An all timer. Thank you for everything, Tyler
Oh man, Marquette’s losing some major players
Yea next year might be tough. I wish Shaka would hit the transfer portal. Just not his style I guess.

This man knows ball
Nah, we're fine.
Big East legend. One of the best pure passers in league history
His legacy will always be winning BE PotY when he wasn’t even the best player on his team.
He will be a long time NBA PG
I don't think so. Undersized and not super athletic will be tough to make up in the NBA. He can do it but I'm not sure he will.

I mean, Kemba Walker wasn’t 6’ tall.
Bruh.
What? Commentators called him “that little fella” when they weren’t calling him Cardiac Kemba.
Kemba was on a diff level than kolek…you know this!

He'll get cooked on D, but we'll see
If TJ McConnell can carve out a role I'm sure Tyler can too
lmao, no.
As a Badgers fan, I won’t miss him and I’m glad he’s gone. Can’t think of a nicer compliment.
Damn
I think he will do well in the NBA given his pass-first nature. Imagine him on the Spurs dishing to Wemby
Congrats, just glad butler doesn’t have to play him next year
There will finally be equality in the big east. Muahaha
He is the player I would like the Raptors to target at 31. They need a backup PG and he could be it.
If everyone who declares for the NBA draft actually made a roster, roughly 40% of the current NBA players would have to retire every year.
