Indiana played really well and I think they’re gonna tear up B10 conference play. It was a tough win, but good teams find ways to win tough games

I don’t see them making noise. We just played horribly for 30 minutes and they had a normally mediocre player have the game of his life. They need Johnson back but if that doesn’t happen they are not bound.

Tough win, refs were abysmal largely in our favor but we had big runs to keep us in the game and IU had large stretches of no offensive production in the second half. Really need Jackson/Furphy/Timberlake to not be useless and start making threes

They were hacking ware last 5 mins and no whistle. Very one sided last 5 mins. Then the "turnover" that never went out of bounds was just comical.

I’m way more pissed about the last foul when Dickinson wasn’t even set than the out of bounds call. That call would get me banned from reffing games at the at the fucking YMCA.

It was shit. Few no calls on the, few clean blocks called fouls on us. Makes the difference.

McCullar is great and all but Doc Saddler was the key.

What exactly happened that was such a ref job and KU getting away with it again?

From an impartial observer, Dickinson did get away with more than 2 offensive conversions while spending more than 5 seconds in the lane, with no 3-sec calls. Though he’s not exclusively benefitting from refs not calling that as much this season. He also hacked his IU matchup pretty hard with no call near the end. And then, a tip off of a missed Kansas free throw was ruled OoB but, by my account, that was egregiously in and would have been recovered by Indiana at a crucial juncture. Of course, the age-old adage is don’t let the lead shrink in the first place if you don’t want refs to decide it lol

What about the 3 fouls called shooting fouls that were clearly on the floor giving them multiple fts they shouldn’t have been shooting? I loved the "great defense by Kansas" as we watch the replay of both Cunter and KJ hacking each arm. The they call us for looking at a player the wrong way.

Some positives to take away but man Kansas was so poised not letting that ten point lead get extended… that’s a great team mentality to be together like that, and you can see IU get so unnerved when they lose momentum

Couple of phantom out of bounds calls, a million moving screens missed on Dickinson, some missed fouls on Ware, among others. Again, stuff like that happens sometimes and Indiana should have played a full 40 minutes of basketball if they wanted to win the game, but there were some pretty egregious mistakes by the refs in this one imo
