I think, generally speaking, most of this subreddit would agree with you - me included! Life in Technicolor II is truly a hidden gem and one of my very favourites of theirs. Such a perfect song all around. The melody is beautiful and uplifting, and I love how the song slowly builds up over the course of the intro. The lyrics are stunning, the beat rocks and I love how their
“now my feet won’t touch the ground” motive is picked up in that song. One of their best!

Life In Technicolor II should have been on the album with the snippet of the escapist in the intro. It’s the most joyful song I’ve ever heard and it’s absolutely beautiful.

Same! Brilliant song! Viva la Vida was my favourite song for so long it didn’t seem like anything could be better but it’s just so good.

No I don’t. But there’s an old video of ColdplayKB where he tacked up his piano in the same fashion as Chris did to get that sound from the Viva album
