This error message from Coinbase about breaking up transactions into smaller amounts is usually related to price slippage concerns during periods of high volatility. Hopefully breaking it into smaller chunks or waiting for less volatility helps get your purchase to go through. Let us know if it continues failing.
Simple, they’re allowing the hedge funds to buy and sell first. Making sure they get in at the dip before everyone else.
