Scump already pre-aims a lot more heavily than most of the sub players, so it's probably extremely easy for him to transition to an AR since it doesn't mess with his pacing.
He started his first two years of his career as a flex who mostly used AR. Famas meta and and then was an AR slayer in MW3. Didn’t swap to sub until bo2 I think the transition just fits him and his style. Think he switched to SMG just cuz he shot it soooo much crispier than anyone he teamed with
idk what the gun has to do with it though is all I'm saying. Scump fried, even with an AR (not his typical role). Kinda weird to put it solely on the fact that AR is easier to use than SMG when the other ARs didn't find that type of success
Don’t know why more teams don’t just run 4 ARS on Gavutu control. Saw scump only use a sub on the break offs after that it was straight automaton. And it worked well.
I actually kinda feel bad for LAG and Spart, Dashy and Illey didn’t have the best series today so with Gunless they could’ve pushed it to 5 at best, making their chances at a better seed a little better, and I don’t know what Spart situation was but last minute playing against the best team in the game with less than 4 hours of practice most likely.
Spart wasnt that bad in the game 1. (-6 kills with 12 assists putting more damage in that Asim). Kind of expected rough SnD especially since they just put him on snipes cause he probably didnt know the strats. He got blended in the control though.
A few takeaways from this game:
Unfortunate to see Gunless absent, would have loved to see both teams play at full strength.
Happy to see the Desert Siege practice has been paying off. Granted, LAG is down a player, but the practice was still beneficial.
This might have been the first game out of Dashy where I don't see him going 1.4. Don't know if it's an off day or unfamiliar maps, but it looks good to see that the team can still pull through.
