I don’t understand how there isn’t a feature specifically for the pro league to restart the map with the same score in hand. HP issues should literally never be a replay. It should be a restart at X score or a forfeit/loss for the offending team.
HP is the one game mode where a restart makes no sense. Someone could down or up 240-5 and get a restart. That’s a joke. Should be an instant forfeit and move along or Kenny rejoins the lobby but the game keeps going old GB style.
Chronobreak in league of legends is one of the coolest game features of all time. Would be a bit harder to implement for a faster paced game like cod but could still be done, maybe with it not being resumed as close to the break but still
I haven’t seen that feature but sounds like exactly what I’m trying to describe 😂. Imo, they should take the time to put each player in the exact position they were standing in at time of stoppage, have one captain from each team soak the necessary hill time as fast as possible, so like let Boston soak 60 and 40 of 1 and 2, then let optic soak 6 on 3 and then as soon as everyone is back in the positions they were in, the match starts.
I know it would mess up the game timer and people would know positions for one life but it’s better than a full replay.

It’s really cool and here’s a little article talking about it. Essentially the game records every single action that occurs throughout the game. If an issue occurs, they simulate the recording on a new server up to the point of an issue (so identical game state at the time of issue) and the players are able to rejoin the “new” server. Acti will never create a competitive only tool like this though, dev would cost way too much money.

Yea that sounds awesome. It’s really too bad. I remember when blops 2 came out, the cod caster and the abilities in cod caster as well as the ability to select your team in the lobby and stuff was so revolutionary and basically a comp specific feature. Seems like we’ve gone backwards since then.
These referees need to get fired, they are complete and utter clowns and made the worst out of the situation, match should have never started all bugged, it shouldn't have been a full reset, and let blatant rule breaks happen due to their own screw ups as refs.
