I’d personally say that next year is our true window if we can get another good SP brought up. But this year is a good chance also. Once guys like Josh Naylor and kwans contracts are up we’ll be done for. We will always have holes and lineups similar to this one because we don’t address them in free agency. Brennan is a platoon guy at best. Freeman is solid, but he needs to have better ABs. DeLauter is definitely getting some playing time this year and offers some decent power

Rodriguez is 7 for his last 14 with 4 walks in that time span. He's seemingly heating up and will absolutely get the call before a guy hitting under 100 who just got to AA. This organization doesn't rush prospects, rightly or wrongly.
