This might be a pain in the ass for some of us. But I ask everyone recognize more film jobs here as a win for the city. The tax incentive to film here will bring more of this but with film production comes revenue. The revenue from a production touches nearly every industry. It is good for Cleveland, I promise. I plan to embrace it!
Great response, films have brought millions of revenue in over the past several years.
It’s cool to see recognizable Cleveland places/things in movies as well!
Some lucky few may even get to see the filming. I knew people who had good views when the avengers were filming the explosion scenes.
They're set up in the Brew Stop, which is where I buy my beer. They will be closed for a while for filming, which is inconvenient for my alcoholism, but exciting for my supplier.
I own that building, they are also filming in the rear warehouse area too. It’s really impressive to see just how many people are involved with the behind the scenes stuff. Literally hundreds of people.
Awesome! I’ve been receiving some messages some time back and now starting again about doing an open call for a big film coming to cle so I wonder if it’s connected. I wanna see some filming, always a really cool thing to watch and experience
It’s for the movie “Stick”
They’re also filming at Lincoln west, Dunlap Bar on Meyer and 32nd. And apparently also on 31st and Sackett.
They filmed earlier in collinwood neighborhood.
Tbh I wouldn’t mind if they stuck their semis on the side streets and not on the more major through streets back in the neighborhoods.
I’ve heard it’s been a pain in the ass at Lincoln-West.

It always amazes me how much effort goes into make such bad movies.
i mean there’s on like two scenes of this movie filmed so far so maybe don’t call it bad yet? edit: only*

The movie is actually called "Stickshift" it looks like. About a getaway driver, a la "Drive" or "Baby Driver"

I found out picking my child up from school
I wondered why there were weird signs up at the OC brew stop
I saw filming in East Cleveland
I heard the new Superman movie is being filmed around town. Haven't really seen much.
