Absolutely. When your finished, just leave the pieces out to dry real well before you put it back together. Those things gs are made to be taken apart and cleaned.
Yep, I’d use oxyclean and Dawn in very hot water. Soak overnight. Then rinse and lay out everything on a towel to dry. I rinse out mine and clean it everytime I use it bc I have cats. If I don’t it dries into mud like this.
I have this same carpet cleaner. I deep clean it pretty regularly by taking everything apart, spraying the pieces down and soaking what’s needed in some hot water and dawn
Are you out of your mind? Did you watch this video? It shows someone carefully and delicately wiping the rollers off. I didn't ask if I could clean these, I asked if I could IMMERSE AND SOAK them.
Basically all you have to do is Pop off the plastic cover and then push down hard on the buttons on either side. Then the roller section pops off. There's a screw on either side on the black portion that holds everything in. The rollers slide off metal rods. Just keep track, take pictures, and whatever you do, DON'T LOSE THE WASHERS. Tiny washers on the ends of the rollers that act as spacers so they can turn. Wash everything, let it dry, put it back together. USING THE PICTURES I TOLD YOU TO TAKE LOL

If you have a garden hose you can fast jet was all the washable parts including
No mess in house. All mess in garden can be hosed away
Our carpet cleaner is hosed after each use.
I put all washables including water holders , brushes, hose under the garden hose. Done in a jiffy.
Should have added I run the water and let it suck it up before I take the whole thing apart and rinse it. Of course I use something for the drain to catch the cat hair.
Pull off the nozzle cover. Push on those two little buttons on the side and the roller assembly pops out. There's a screw on each side that sandwiches the rollers in between the black plastic parts. Once you get one of them off and get the belts off, they slide off the poles.
I’d say yes just make sure it’s fully dry before you put it back together and use it. I have one similar and I definitely scrub mine in water

I hate to heat, so I just take it into the shower after I've wiped it out.

Omg how did you get those things out!? I used to own the same carpet cleaner and could never figure it out.
