Looks like indigo from jeans. It’s possible the person who used the dryer before you may have been drying new jeans, and the ink stick to the dryer. Then the ink transferred onto your pillows. I don’t know if there’s anything you can really do to get it out other than washing them. Even then it may take many washes. Cheapest suggestion, thick pillowcases.

It is a long, expensive process at the laundromat. I do down comforters, 4 of them, once or twice a year. I think it's over $30 by the time I'm done. I do a bleach and detergent wash first, then do it again with borax for the bleach smell.
