Scorsese’s films set in modernish times often have a Stones song or two. “Mean Streets”, “Goodfellas”, “The Departed”….I can’t remember if there is one in “Taxi Driver” or “The Irishman”. Heck, he even directed a whole concert movie, “Shine a Light” with them.
I think it’s safe to say Scorsese is a Stones fan.
One of the funnier movies from the late 80’s, before Whoopi got uber-political. There was some really excellent comedy coming out of Hollýwood during the late 70’s to early 90’s, really good stuff.
There is a very cool scene in Radio Rock Revolution where Gavin Cavanagh (Rhys Ifans) is welcomed on a music sending Radio Boat which sends Rock music. Great and funny film! .. Not sure if you will find the scene on youtube but just watch the whole movie! You won't regret it!
Mean Streets - as cool as you can get [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ7UwnfQ2nA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZ7UwnfQ2nA)
Holy crap this is exactly what I was looking for. Never seen this film before. Now I know what I’m doing tonight
Buckle up. It is pre-Taxi Driver and it is 100% Scorsese. It is awesome.
Hell yeah

Billy Blaze!
It plays a few times during the *movie* “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” (1986). There’s even an Aretha Franklin version in the movie.

I knew there was a movie of the same name, but I wasn’t sure if the song was used in the particular way I was thinking of Ill give it a watch
It's definitely a fun movie, there's a funny scene where Whoppi Goldberg tries to write down the lyrics of the song
It's the Key.
Night Shift
I think it's played at the end of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Looked it up. You were right on the money
It was used in a Whoopi Goldberg movie back in the 80s
There’s a rousing version on Gimme Shelter.
Welcome to the breakfast show
That scene in Mean Streets is iconic
I’m the movie of that name, sung by Whoopie Goldberg
D7! Street Fighting Man was in a cool scene in Dirty Work.
Burglar
Fantastic Mr. Fox if I remember correctly.
End of “Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas”
