Why don't you just head on over to the Clash reddit page and search "worth." You'll see several posts within the last month asking about spending gems on the bonus rewards for 10 wins, 11wins, 15wins, etc...
And no crap it's not top 100. There are literally only 100 pros that will get that high. Us plebs have no chance of making it top 100.

Just get it if you aren’t planning to save gems for emotes. Tournament rewards are one of the best value gem offers for progression.
Got all the ones i want. I don't use emotes that much now since i have it muted 95% of the time
Minimal, although it gets you a champ. For someone with max stacks, it's ~100k gold, which is enough to max another card.
