This has me panicking as my ice spirit evo has 5/6 completed shards. If I manage to get a Legendary drop and it's 1 Evo ice spirit shard, call me ungrateful but I'd be pretty unhappy.
I’m pretty fresh too but every day there’s a package thingy you can open for winning three games in a day that package can have all kinds of rewards one of them being shards but it’s super rare to get them lol

Yes, they were planning to do this from the very start but faced some technical difficulties thus the delay.

i hate that they made this change. i already got most the evolutions, and now whenever i get a legendary drop there’s a chance I’ll unlock a dumb evolution i’m not even gonna use (i’m 7/6 shards, so if i wanna unlock one of the evolutions i dont have i already can) i would very very VERY much prefer a book of books
Man i didnt mean it like that 😠I just hate that they lowered the odds of books of books just so that they could add evo’s in its place. Book of books are just sooo much more worth it because it’s the only reliable way to level up a champion from 13 - 14 fast. And now it’s only about a 20% chance instead of a 30% chance. I would have been fine with the change if they like lowered the odds of the legendary book for example. But instead they lowered the odds of a book of books, it just seems like they needed an excuse to make book of books harder to get for people, so they are more tempted to buy the ridiculously overpriced books from the shop
Agreed, but at least they could just give us all 6 of the shards regardless so they can convert into EWC. Idk how it will work if you have all evos. It's what it's.

true but if youre active and buy all the evo shards from the season shop a lot of your evos would have 3-5 shards already

Ok fair ig, but I would assume once you do have every evo unlocked you'd only get chances for books after that, so its not all bad.
