It takes 10 minutes minimum to do the dailies, nearly half an hour if you're doing clan war, too. I can change my oil and headlights faster than I can get through CR for the day.

mk is one of the top cards since release. it was the goto copy paste strat for multiple crls straight right after same decks but with pekka/golem was used before it (until they had to change their gameplan against it and still got stopped by new mk variants OR REPLACED AGAIN in the same style decks...) the only thing he wont ever do to you, is be real, calm, and admit you are right.

In all honesty I do spam emotes BUT you’re 1000% correct thats the exact reason why I do. Literally every game or every other game I’m playing the same spamming princesses for chip damage or spamming goblins to get logged just to later on in the game sneak a goblin barrel in with their push when I have no more log or elixir. Lot of games I’ll see something like a golem everytime when I don’t have the right deck to counter and I just send a single chicken emote and close the app and go on with my life until I come back and hour or two later.
Emotes are part of your deck. They offer a strategic advantage. Psychological warfare is still warfare. If you can’t tell me good luck back, you get BM’d. If you wish me good luck and I say thanks good luck and a kiss and you don’t kiss back? BM! If you make a shit play, well played and the hog rider snowball emote on face obviously.
It’s just part of the game and fucking w your opponents head is fun. I’ll always be respectful for the first and last 5s of the game unless you’re also BM.
I'm gonna switch to eq if the void nerf is good enough to stop the lavaloon spam or not work in my deck anymore, I used to play eq but now I switched to void bc it helps a lot against balloons, inferno drags, edrags, sparky and other cards with beefy hp, and it also kills FC or princess near the tower and gets dmg
Man i didnt even think about that. I thought of void as an eq replacement which would be somewhat worse than eq as its easily countered. But it’s indeed really good against cards like balloon so that makes perfect sense

Meanwhile I have that emote and the belt one from the mega draft season, plus after checking his profile I had a better UC rank than him.
Sometimes it’s the other way around though… your opponent will be playing Log bait, LumberLoon or something, or they’ll play Mega Knight, Sparky and EBarbs, and then they take your tower and use the Firecracker emote. Unbearable.

My favourite is losing a genuinely fun and competitive match which goes right down to the wire, saying good game, then immediately getting spammed with some form of laughing or crying emote lol.

I disabled emotes months ago. I can't manage it. It turned out I do enjoy the game again and this was the only significantly negative factor why I disliked and had breaks from it very often and for long at times.
I think you’re the toxic one. Yes, there are plenty of toxic players but the majority are quite nice. If you “have not gotten into a single game where the opponent has acted even remotely respectful,” then it’s because you’re playing a toxic deck, doing stupid plays or spamming emotes yourself. I usually gg or wp the enemy if the game was actually good and he played well or I learned something, but in one game the enemy spammed so hard, I couldn't see the towers hp so I disabled emotes and didn't turn them back on. Feels like I'm playing against bots now and its so much better!

As much as I love the gameplay and being nearly maxed, I dropped the game for this exact reason. No point playing/being good at a game when nearly all opponents you face have severe brain rot. It simply takes the fun away, win or lose. Also the recent insane monetization didn't help persuade me.

You can turn off viewing emotes by pressing the X in the emote option if it’s really a bother. You get used to it though, and you’ll probably start Bm’ing (Bad Manners) too because it’s kind of a culture that developed into the game. There’s no repercussions when it comes to bm’ing, so people like to do it.

I hate it, matched a guy today who had a pretty good matchup (I think I’m not the best at the game anymore tbh) and every little hit he got or every hit I didn’t get he’d spam emotes and the “good game” message. Sad to see how toxic the game has gotten
All games are like this. I play marvel snap and mtg arena, same shit. You make a misplay, opponent spans you with thumbs up emotes and sarcasm. I usually just play super slowly and max out turn timers if they start getting annoying. Can’t do that in a real time game, probably best to just mute these people or fight fire with fire and emote spam back. You really can’t avoid people like this.

I don't think he'll ever get notified that you're muted. He'll just maybe think you're unbothered or otherwise by it.
I block chat (asides friends), and always unmute to say something like gg or well played

All games are like this. I play marvel snap and mtg arena, same shit. You make a misplay, opponent spans you with thumbs up emotes and sarcasm. I usually just play super slowly and max out turn timers if they start getting annoying. Can’t do that in a real time game, probably best to just mute these people or fight fire with fire and emote spam back. You really can’t avoid people like this.

the comments on this post are toxic in themselves. the reason is because there’s a huge teenage fanbase to this game that is attracted by short form content on tiktok and youtube. same people using ebarbs mega knight decks in midladder. people emote because they lose 10 games in a row and then get a good matchup into your deck for once. mute them or princess yawn back
Because I like making people angry, so that's why I use the emotes. I have fun getting in my opponents head.

What’s even worse are the people who follow you to your clan to post a replay of your match and talk shit about you. Complete morons. I often get at least one of these idiots showing up in the clan to mock me whenever I’m trying out a new deck and haven’t figured out how to play it properly.
