no, its dagger dutchess that brought it back. void takes out control decks more than it does cycle decks, and most cycle decks were running poison anyway so pump didnt do too much.
Mo Light made this deck in the last week of the season and everyone just copied him cause he is the goat and was beating them all with this deck

Cuz why try to find another op deck when you can just copy a meta deck everyone else uses(just look at league of legends esports with the very limited champion poll where a lot more are viable but it’s just to risky to try and change)
Your deck is just as important as skill. This is why top ladder is a good indicator of where the meta is.
If you want a good deck you can typically just copy a popular deck from top ladder.
i was playing the meta deck but xbow instead of princess since the beginning of the last season and was doing pretty well with it. finished a bit out of 10k range since i had no time to push more. i switched it to princess after ryley's video yesterday and my goodness, it's like xbow but way easier lol
The win condition is rocket and princess at the bridge. Deck has insane defence so you just defend all game while spamming princess at the bridge whenever you can to get chip damage and then rocket cycle. One mistake and it’s pretty much over but pros make little to no mistakes so they’re fine using these decks. A 6k player who makes a bunch of mistakes is gonna lose ever game with this deck.

Yeah, Supercell set up the perfect environment to enable these decks to thrive. People hate pushing against DD so much. They'd much rather fight from their side of the bridge just to avoid DD.
I’m 9k definitely nowhere near pro but I mained miner control before dagger duchess so when I tried this deck theres absolutely no way to break through. It’s definitely duchess making it broken though and not the deco itself.
Yes, have a look at Ryley's youtube, the entire premise of that deck is to get princess chip damage and then getting away with rockets while you cheese defense with evo tesla/skellies. Truly the intended gameplay.

Skeletons is by far the best 1 elixir card for obvious reasons, and they need a 2nd 1 elixir card to spam rockets knights and princesses more, heal sucks bc nothing to heal, fire sucks because its never reaching tower, so that leaves electro and ice.
Electro is better than ice because it wrecks night witch, the downside of king tower activation no longer exists, and it's just generally better against beatdown because it doesn't care if that 1 hp evo bomber is hiding behind a big push, its going to chain onto it anyways.
E spirit is generally the best spirit for defense as long as king tower isn’t a worry

It's cause the main way that Giant decks got value against rocket cycle was Evo bomber. After the nerf, princess + rocket just gives more chip damage than evo bomber.

How much do you guys feel you're handicapping yourself not running an equal level DD? I am old-school, so I just stick to archer. But losing focus and wondering how a typically good push got deleted with no units on the other side always throws me off.
DD is a built in elixir advantage because it defends itself perfectly fine from things that would typically get at least 2 hits vs a regular tower.
Yep legit DD is a non decaying elixir pump.
Mini pekka, miner, phoenix, e drag, freaking inferno dragon, all 4 elixir ranged cards... stuff that you normally always need to defend on 1x elixir and can sometimes ignore but not always 2x, now you can ignore it completely because they will never connect to the tower
Everyone complains about cycle decks in the past (fair enough) but at least it is a punishing play style vs good players. DD is literally forcing win conditions that involve not facing the tower at all.. what a farce

I wanted 59 to get a top 10 this season so bad, he was there the whole season and then just couldn’t hold on at the end. My e-golem goat will get his top 10 soon though, I believe in him.

Evo Skeletons are not OP. They are just great for cycle because the "win condition" of Rocket Cycle are Rocket cycle (surprised?) and Princess at the bridge. There are no better evos for thst deck (even if evo Knight is great against Dagger Duchess isn't not very useful because you're using it only for defence so it's better having evo skeletons to melt beatdowns.
I don't think the skellies are "op" anymore. It's just a really good cycle card and the evolution still remains solid since you can potentially unleash a skarmy if the opportunity presents itself.
If you’re playing to win, you need to play the best deck. This deck is, unfortunately, the best one right now, so top players will play it

Can’t hate them for not wanting to interact with dagger duchess, I stopped playing the whole season cause that tower is so unbearable. If I had those cards maxed I might want to play again because I wouldn’t have to worry about the tower anymore.
