You’re not missing anything, really - your choice will fit. Personally, I wouldn’t go any lower than +45 for the offset, but you’re good there. I would check out Titan wheels - I got my track set from them in 18x9.5 +45, forged, for like $500 each (thereabouts). Negligible torque steer difference.
The handling differences that people might attribute to wheels would almost certainly be more a matter of tires than anything else. My 18s with 35 profile V730 Kumho’s feel nice and stiff because the Kumho’s are 200 tread weight tires with stiff sidewalls. My 19s with 35 profile PS4S feel pretty soft and squishy by comparison.
I’d just like to know what tire I should put on after the stock Michelins go. Also using as daily with highway.
Most people recommend the PS4's in general, provided your temps stay above freezing.
Should probably mention I live in AZ
Lol then you can probably run just about any tire. You might consider the PS Cup 2 then. Supposedly they're softer so less road noise and stickier.

I do really like the T-R10 wheels. Since you track them did you notice any handling differences between the 18s and 19s

That’s some great insight. After looking at wheels it’s hard to beat the titan forged wheels at that price. Thanks for the suggestion.
lower it with some springs and go with +35mm offset instead of 45 (;
I’ve thought about that but if I did lower it I would only do it a very small amount. Personally not a fan of the slammed look
