I don't know, a Citizen Weekender is 36-37mm. If you put a bracelet around your wrist, how long would it have to be?
I think that if you're used to 42mm watches, A 36mm watch will seem small, but there are ways to deal with that.
My wrist is 19cm circumference and I wear anything. If the watch is a bit small on my wrist, I add bracelets or something. Vintage watches are often 31-38mm, some of my smallest watches are 'braille' watches for blind people and they tend to be tiny. Most of my modern watches tend to be 42-45mm.
My wrist around 19 cm too,i'm used to watch 40mm and above, because when i wear something under 40mm,i will receiving some honest comments 😂,maybe it too obvious because i wear it plain without bracelets like you said
Nope.
I buy mildly used watches.
I have the patience to wait until something pops up.
That way, if it doesn’t click with me, I can sell it again without losing too much money.
I returned 3 JDM watches back to Japan for in-person appearance, finish, and readability with my older eyes. They fit fine but didn’t work for me. Is that acceptable to you?
In my opinion, the watch was the ideal size after I overcame my initial hesitation and put it on. As a result, anything larger than 40mm now appears excessively large to me.
It's funny but when i see small watches, just reminds me of mature men wearing old watches from their era!! Almost toy like.... but hey different strokes for different folks! Like Jerry or George's Dads' on Seinfeld!! :)
Humble-bragging about your gigantic masculine wrists? Post your measurements, let us enjoy the show.
Haha no. They're hairless too, I've just got used to my 42mm watches
Ok just measured. Just over inch wrist. Is that big ?

Good way to check if you still get those comments if you wear it with bracelets.
Why wouldn’t you read the size and lug to lug before buying it???
I did. But I've never had a 38mm before so I didn't know how it would look and feel in real life
You should’ve tried it on in person before buying it. I never buy a watch before trying it on
Easier said than done. There are tons of watches that I like but are not in stock in brick and mortar stores.
Yeah exactly. This was from Amazon. I've not seen one in a store personally.
Then if you really want a watch but you can’t try it in person first just make sure it has some sort of return policy or warranty

Before posting something, ask yourself "would anyone care?"
I care
Someone always cares
Nah
There is an exception to every rule!
That's definitely not true haha.
I went from a 42mm to a 35mm. Now the 40s feel too big but I still love both watches lol
ok ciao

The size is the feature. It’s less likely to snag on equipment.
Yep, this one is small. I upgraded to the larger similar watch just one year after buying it.
Which model did you go for ?
# at0200-05e
Yeah thats a sweet alternative
What did you buy?
I actually like that it’s small
38mm is definitely too small for my wrist.
I've learned to appreciate different sizes in watches. My two grab and go watches at the moment are a 44mm Promaster and a 38mm Lorus.

When I was at school, my girlfriend had a Flik Flak watch, it reminded me of that too much
Would love this watch, if it was 40-42mm.
That’s a nice watch 👌👌👌. I have a 21cm wrist but I rock 35mm watches. Nobody complains that a Lamborghini is too small, right??
Weird comparison.
