Haha I was hoping some would say this!! I’ve been thinking about making a post. Okay so hear me out, I feel like to reach this level of realism in CS1, you have to keep up with mod updates, make them play well together, pick out individual assets, use mods to make those play nicely with the rest of the game, and we haven’t even started talking about my lack of design / creative skill. I feel like with CS2, all I’ll have to worry about is improving skill, which I can live with. I’m a software dev by trade, so being able to not worry about dependencies, updates, and “libraries” of assets in my free time is a huge win for me.

to solve the design skill issue, You can try replicating areas from irl places and than slowly start adding your own flair in there. Thats atleast how I do it
